    Come spend time in idyllic Leipers Fork Village in Franklin, TN. Relax and enjoy a quiet break in the country to revive your body and spirit. Over Yonder offers a front porch with five rocking chairs and a porch swing. It is a great place to spend time with family and friends, listen to the gentle flow of the creek across the street, and enjoy the wooded surroundings.

    Over Yonder is just 1.8 miles from Leipers Fork Village, which offers restaurants, music, antique shops, art galleries, and a spa. Leipers Fork is about 40 minutes from the downtown Nashville scene.

    When you enter Over Yonder, you see a large open floor plan that includes a kitchen, dining area, and living room. It is a great place to gather and visit while preparing dinner or playing games at the dining table.

    The kitchen is well-equipped for those who enjoy preparing meals.

    This charming house includes three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All bedrooms include a queen-size bed and a chair or love seat. One bedroom and a bath are on the first floor, and the upstairs offers two bedrooms and one bathroom. Both bathrooms include a large shower, and the upstairs bathroom includes a standalone tub.

    A full-sized washer and dryer are available on the first floor.

    The hills in Leipers Fork cause spotty cell service. While at Over Yonder, it is best to log on to the free wifi and use the wifi calling feature on your cell phone. This works beautifully for calls and texts.

    We have upgraded to fiber internet service as soon as it was available at our address (April 2025).

    Our guests have full access to the whole house. I do request that people refrain from entering the old shed on the property. It actually used to be a smoke house and I have future plans to renovate it while keeping the charm of the old, but right now it is in need of repair, so off limits.

    Country Living Over Yonder. The outdoor area includes a fire pit with Adirondack chairs.

    VRBO does not provide a field for maximum booking length. The maximum length is 14 days, exceptions will be considered.

Unique location just a few minutes from Liepers Fork and access to the Natchez Trace. While near the road there was very little traffic and road noise was not an issue. The fire pit area is a gem with plenty of firewood and view/sounds of the creek across the road. A great stay for 2-3 couples.

Loved staying at this cozy house. Perfect place for a family. Host went above and beyond to provide a pack-n-play and decorate for Christmas!

Leave tissue for your guests and don’t program the thermostat to change temperatures in the middle of the night. These are just suggestions otherwise when an absolutely incredible excellent time. It is beautiful there. We used the Firepit. We read books on the front porch. We absolutely loved it.

Perfect location for day trips to Leipers fork, Franklin,Nashville, etc. Home was very clean and had all the basic supplies one would want. Home was well decorated with an informal country flair. Host was friendly, communicated well and was available for any issue that arose. Will definitely stay there again.

Peggy is a great host! We had a wonderful family stay this weekend, and couldn’t be happier. Close to quaint little Leipers Fork, amazing front porch with rocking chairs to enjoy the beautiful weather, and the soothing sound of the creek across the road. We will definitely be back! Peggy’s place is amazing. Everything you could want from a VRBO stay. The location is awesome. The porch is fantastic and the fire pit on a cool fall night tops it all off. We will definitely be back.

Peggy, our hostess, was amazing. Always available to help or answer our questions immediately. Over Yonder is delightful from the front porch that looks over to a lovely brook to its entirely newly renovated interior. My favorite was the showers. There are shower heads on both ends of the stall. Pure luxury!
