Unfortunately, we experienced several issues during our visit that significantly impacted our experience and resulted in additional, unplanned expenses.Upon arrival, we found that the kitchen, bathroom, and laundry kits were missing. This meant we did not have basic essentials such as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, hand soap, or dish soap—items that are typically stocked prior to a guest’s arrival. As a result, we had to purchase all of these supplies ourselves.Additionally, one of the main reasons we chose this property was so that we could cook meals at home rather than dine out with our group of ten. I had purchased a significant amount of groceries in preparation. However, we quickly discovered that the stove and oven were not functional, preventing us from cooking at the house. This not only defeated the purpose of renting a home but also substantially increased the overall cost of our trip.There were also serious plumbing issues. The water pressure in the house was extremely poor, and we could only use one shower at a time. With ten people staying in the home, this made getting ready each day very difficult. When a second shower was turned on, the water pressure dropped so low that the showerhead would not function.We reported these issues immediately. However, no one came to the property to drop off the missing supplies or inspect the appliances until 5 PM on our last day. By that point, it was too late—we had already been forced to purchase essentials
