The Happy Place: This rental listing has an updated kitchen, new kitchen supplies, fresh bed linens, new king mattress, new towels, wireless high-speed internet, 3 bikes, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach cooler, beach bag and state beach pass. This is a Dog-friendly home. Non-Shedding, small dogs only.

It features a master bedroom with a king bed and a private bathroom, a guest room with two twin beds perfect for families, kids, and friends. Also, the Living room is equipped with a sleeper sofa, thus accommodating up to 5 - 6 people comfortably.

The Happy Place has a fully stocked updated kitchen with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances.

The entire backyard is fenced in for complete privacy to give you a peaceful retreat and enjoying the large outdoor area, including the outdoor BBQ!

This wonderful vacation rental located only Five blocks to Vanderbilt Beach, a short drive or bike ride to Delnor-Wiggins State Park. Only 1.5 miles to the entertainment area of Mercato, which features a British Pub, Blue Martini, Cavo Lounge, Wine Loft any many more bars and restaurants while having 2 Publix, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, and Walmart also all within a 2-mile radius. You can also enjoy a sunset cocktail or dinner at one of the Beachfront luxury establishments such as the Turtle Club or the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Boating enthusiasts can rent boats at the nearby marina to enjoy the beautiful waters, wildlife, and beaches around.

Our Happy Place Stay

It is obvious from the moment you pull in the drive that Janie, the owner put effort into making her home special. It was easy to feel at home in her perfectly decorated and well appointed environment, she truly has thought of everything you could need. Great Experience

We stayed in this lovely cottage for 6 weeks. First thing we noticed upon entering was how spotlessly clean everything was. The interior is very tasteful and comfortable. If you like to cook the kitchen in well equipped. The only downside is that it is in an older neighborhood and there is a lot of construction goin on. It is very convenient to beach, restaurants and shopping Janie is a wonderful host and is very responsive to any questions you may have. We definitely recommend this rental.

The Happy Place

Great stay! Janie was quick to answer our questions and requests. Noticed a cooler wasn't in the listing description and inquired about one. Janie purchased one and had it on sight before we arrived. The place was clean, in a great neighborhood and close to many beaches. The state park pass was an a great amenity! Looking forward to going back again!

Wonderful home and so close to the beach for the price! Property manager was fantastic to rent from!

Stayed a week with my husband and two dogs while we helped move our aunt. The house is the perfect size and the fenced in yard was wonderful for our dogs. Great location and wonderful people to rent from!

A happy stay at the Happy Place

This was our first long term stay in Florida. The house was clean and equipped with everything that we needed for a comfortable stay. The host provided a handbook for the house and was quickly available if needed. The house is located in a neighborhood safe for walking and biking. It is a perfect location for access to the beach for beautiful sunsets and early morning beach walks, day trips to the the Everglades or Lovers Key State Park. Lots of nearby shopping choices available. We enjoyed the nearby dining of Joe's Diner and the Patio Café along with several options at Mercato. For biking we recommend the Trek Store nearby and riding through the Pelican Bay community. We had a great stay!

Great Vacation House

We rented for the month of January for our family of 4 as a vacation/work remotely getaway. The house was the perfect size for the 4 of us to work remotely without getting in each other's way. The kitchen has double doors that open to a screened in porch, which provides a nice bit of extra space. The house is about a 15 minute walk to Vanderbelt Beach or a 5 minute bike ride, which were provided by the owners. We walked to the beach with the dog several times for sunset. The house has a large backyard, which we used nightly to eat outside. It's a mile walk to Mercato outdoor mall and restaurant area. We had happy hour at several places and shopped at the Whole Foods. The owners are very nice and super responsive. I would highly recommend this house and would happily rent again next year.
