This perfect Nanthttps://admin.vrbo.com/lm/321.462054.1045165/description.html#ucket vacation rental is very accessible to town, situated close to open parks and charming lanes and across from America's oldest working windmill, which was built in 1746 by Nathan Wilbur. The bike paths and shuttle bus are accessible across the street. This three-plus bedroom (additional sleeping area) is well maintained and nicely decorated. Relaxed and comfortable and very suitable for multiple generational families or couples. Private yard with two patios and an outside shower. Off-street parking for two cars. Sleeps, eight people.

First Floor: Kitchen with breakfast bar and separate dining area; a separate sitting room with flat-screen TV adjacent to the kitchen. There are two bedrooms (Queen & Full) on this level that share a hallway bathroom with a tub and shower.

Lower Level:
Queen bedroom en-suite with oversized shower. Bunk: Twin bed over full bed Washer/ Dryer

Disappointing

Although the house is well located even though it’s at a busy intersection, many things about it disappointed us. It is quite small and we felt it was not comfortable for our group of 6. It’s better for 4 or if absolutely necessary 5 people. ( the listing says sleeps 8) The couch only seats 5 people and there are no chairs for additional seating! The kitchen has high top stools and the “dining area” , which is not air conditioned, has a bench and some built in seating. Very cramped. The main floor 2 bedrooms are small and share a tiny bathroom . The basement bedroom has a private bath, but the additional sleeping space is open to the basement. The attic has steep steps. There are no hooks anywhere to hang wet towels , except maybe one in a closet. Recycling is confusing since there are 2 different set of instructions and the trash cans in the house have no markings to help out. Overall, this was not what we had expected from such a costly rental.

Great location and everything you need!

We had a wonderful time at this property! It is well equipped with everything you need for a vacation in Nantucket. The location is wonderful - though on a busy road, you can easily walk to town. Nice private back yard! Working with Giles was easy and he was very responsive. The quality of the items for your use is very good. Great hosts, great property.

Well located house for groups

The house is will located on the outskirts of town. Easy access to anywhere on the island. While only two full bathrooms inside, the outdoor shower was convenient for hosting a group. Plenty of towels and linens.

The house was quite clean and well set-up on our arrival. Giles was quite easy and quick to communicate with, and responded quickly to minor questions and issues (like burned-out light bulbs - nothing major). Heavy duty washer and dryer were quite useful for a large group. Kitchen had a good supply of utensils and appliances. The house is within easy walking distance of town (< 1 mile). Like most houses of its vintage, we found a shortage of plugs for phones, etc, which we solved by buying an outlet extender. The only concern I had with the house was the stairs to the upper and lower levels; both seemed fairly steep to me and had several feet with no hand rail or wall to grab on to.

Great Location

This house was great, it's in a central location and we really enjoyed our stay. The home is right on the bike path and was an easy bike/walk into town. The backyard is also great and has everything we needed (table, grill, etc.). We enjoyed sitting outside for dinner. The outdoor shower is also a plus. Giles was very responsive, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. The room in the basement does not have AC, which was a little uncomfortable for us, but we had a great time in this home otherwise. We would still recommend the home.

Fabulous house, great location!

House was fabulous. Spotlessly clean, had everything we needed. Right on the bike path, easy access to town and beaches! Cannot not say enough good words for how responsive Giles was, he is a wonderful host! Can’t wait to visit again!
