"Everything was to the standard of a by road motel. Very clean bedding and towels. Big shower stall. Overall comfortable place for a night and close to the ferry terminal."

It is next to the rest of the Buccaneer Inn right on the main highway, so it is not secluded. Only the tiniest of peekaboo view of the harbor on the other side of the highway. "There were available parking stalls. The room was not very clean. They must have just painted it during the day as it was full of paint fumes. There were no side tables for either bed. The bedding was questionable one top sheet looked like it was actually a tablecloth. Only 3 light bulbs worked and the bathroom door didnt close."

"Window has no screen and dirty. Air conditioning is making loud noise with fan running but does not cool the space. Bathroom sink does not drain well. Check-in took ~30 min. There is no common space or breakfast room. No one helped to check out. The laundry room which services the entire hotel is dirty. Noted homeless people staying under the exterior stair. Booked with Expedia which rates 8.2. Honestly don’t know how it gets rated with this high rating. Very disappointed and Certainly not...

"The room we were assigned was wheel chair accessible, which I did not care for. The floors in this room was very creaky. Overall the hotel was well maintained."

"Room clean, bedding great, liked the little dove soaps etc in the bathroom. Free safe parking Free breakfast ok but we have had much better. Didn't like it closed off during rest of the day , not like the two other hotels we stayed where always fresh coffee or tea, or water dispenser , the area was friendly ,nice & quiet on the boardwalks by the water .."

"The views around the hotel are absolutely amazing, and the two pools and hot tub are truly wonderful. The property is also quiet and not too crowded, so there is plenty of space to relax. The walk to the beach is beautiful as well. The restaurant food was also very delicious, with generous portions. The only thing I was disappointed with was the room. We booked the town-side queen beds room, but it looked older and smaller than it appeared in the photos. The view was not good, instead of seeing...

"The bfast book was fabulous made to order what I wanted, hot tea in lobby all night. First night no parking I parked on the road and homeless loitering around I didn’t like that. Otherwise walking distance to downtown streets full of cafes and Indian restaurants galore. Nicer than most Quality inns"
