Portofino II 315B is one of 10 homes in the ocean front complex with community pool and landscaped grounds located in Surfside Beach, SC. 4 bedrooms, 3 baths sleeps 12 with 2 king beds, 3 doubles, a bunk bed and a sleeper sofa. Direct ocean front, located next to the pool, you'll enjoy your morning coffee and sunrises if you're an early bird from the comfort of your screened or covered porches. Full kitchen, washer/dryer, WIFI. Mini vacations and off season monthly rentals are an option in this home.Sorry, no smoking or pets allowed.

Great location and responsive management

Great property! It was in walking distance to the pier and some restaurants. We loved how the ocean was our front yard and we had the option of a shared pool. The rooms were great sizes and there are plenty of tables for the family to eat. We did not use the TV's but there were plenty. We had a loose step leading to the beach and a clogged toilet but the management company sent someone out to fix it right away. To note: there are no beach towels or beach chairs/umbrella on site, so make sure you bring some! There is a propane grill which lit but it was very dirty, so we did not use it. Overall, I recommend this property! Thank you

Great Place for Family

We loved this location and was great for our family with young children. The outdoor space and access to a pool worked out great for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall we loved the house and location. I will say that the floors and carpet and rugs were very dirty. We washed the throw rugs because they were sticky. No hand towels for any of the bathrooms and we didn’t like that we had to stock our own towels. We would definitely stay again however the house needs to be more thoroughly cleaned

Family vacation beach house

This was a great house for our family vacation. Location was great, house was spacious and having the pool and ocean right there was perfect. My only complaint was that the place needs some deep cleaning, some serious updating, especially the bathrooms and some tender loving care. All and all we would stay there again.

VRBO review

Five adults stayed at this property. We loved the location, the layout of the house and especially the covered porch facing the ocean. The house is nicely furnished and the beds are comfortable. There were a couple of “glitches.” On Monday of our visit the maintenance staff at Dunes was notified of a problem with the porch. They immediately repaired the rim band of the porch that had separated from the floor joist. The dishwasher was non-functioning while we were there. Dunes Realty representative said that was the property owner’s responsibility and reported it to them to replace. It was not replaced while we were there. The downstairs toilet tank does not fill properly even after looked at by maintenance. Dunes worked with us and was very helpful. We would stay in this unit again…and look forward to another visit.

Great location, updates needed

Check in process was quick and efficient. Beach house was mostly what we expected based on the description. Views were amazing and being directly on the beach was exactly what we wanted. Place could use some updating and some T.L.C. as several of the deck boards are lose and in need of replacing, interior is dated, some bug issues, and house could use a REALLY good cleaning. All of this still did not stop us from booking again next year, but it would greatly improve an already fantastic beach house.

A little thrown off

The house was in a great location. Was disappointed in the inside, dirty, roaches, window screen ripped up, upstairs air vents rusy and blk mold, bathroom shower curtain liners grubby and gross!!! We moved the couches to sweep under them because we could see dirt and things under them. Mattresses need replaced. We loved the beach and the pool

Needs major updating

We loved the location and if it was updated it would be great but it needs Maier updates. Downstairs toilet gets stopped up constantly. Walkway to beach and railings are old and rotted and nails sticking up. Not enough spoons for a meal. Rug in living room nasty. Bedroom door would not lock. One ceiling fan was not usable it was so wobbly. We still had a great time and love Surfside. Do some upgrades.

Location is perfect!

Our family had a great time at the beach. Location is perfect. House and neighborhood is quiet, relaxing and peaceful. We were able to walk to restaurants. We had a great time. My only complaint would be from a management perspective. Starter supplies were really lacking, nearly emplty rolls of toilet paper, no dishwashing tablets, only one bottle of hand soap in the house. $10 worth of supplies would have made all the difference in the first day. I've stayed in many, many properties like this and have never had to rush to the store for basic starter supplies.
