We enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect close by to the grocery store, museums, and downtown Georgetown. The home was neat, clean, very spacious, great view of the lake as well as easy access and walk on the private pier. The owner and staff were pleasant, very accessible and responded promptly to answer questions prior to our stay.

Nice Stay

Overall, it was great. The master suite was amazing! Pier was great although no fish were biting. Had one issue with the cleanliness on the bedroom off the garage (Bed linen soiled). Everything else was fine. Close to grocery store and restaurants downtown Georgetown.

Overall the property was nice. We didnt like that the downstairs wasn't as clean as the rest of the house. The garage door went off track when we tried to open it and the grass wasnt cut. The response from the property manager was in point. She communicated very well and she sent someone to clean the downstairs.

Very nice and modern

Very nice and modern home. The view is beautiful. The house was clean but could be a bit cleaner. The wooden blinds were a bit dusty and other areas had dust. Home was perfect size for six people but the sixth bedroom was located off of the garage. You have to go outside, downstairs, through the garage (that has no entrance directly into the house) to get to the sixth bedroom. This was not ideal for six ladies. So two had to double up in a room. There is a double garage but you can't park in it because of items. This was a girls trip of relaxing, watching movies and bonding time but there was not a tv in the main living area. All the bedrooms had tvs but not in the common area. We had to move a tv from one of the rooms and place it on the floor to have a tv in the common area. If these items were fixed, it would be a perfect getaway house and location.

Waterside charm

The property is beautiful and accommodated our family well. Loved the light airy view and one comment by a family member was if I owned this, I would never leave! Property is also conveniently located to town and yet in a nice quiet neighborhood. Highly recommend

Great Getaway

My Dad and his wife live in Georgetown but the rest of us are spread out in North and South Carolina. We decided to stay together in this house and we all had a great time. Kids, grandkids and great-grandkids. Plenty for everyone to do, very spacious, clean, easy check-in and out and plenty of parking.

It was nice.

Overall, nice stay. They don’t disclose that the 6th bedroom is completely separate from main house. So to access it, you need to go outside. Which is inconvenient. House was updated & clean except the floors. All our feet were covered in debris & some gritty black dust/dirt. Kitchen is equipped enough but missing a keurig /single serve coffee maker. Also, it rained out heavily & found there’s a leak so we just had a towel absorb the drips & notified the contact immediately. Neighborhood was quiet. Beautiful view out back , but neighbors to the right was an eye sore so if you ignore it then it’s no issue. Cute little area. Overall, it was a nice stay.

What a view!

Great house! We loved waking up to that beautiful view each day! Everyone enjoyed their stay. Great updates to the home and the master suite was huge!! The only suggestions we had was that we needed hooks to hang our bath towels on in each of the bathrooms. Also, the master had no drawers for storage nor a suitcase rack. We had to stack our clothes on the closet hanger rack. Would recommend the home to anyone!

Family Reunion

Interior of home is stunning. Location to near by essentials was good. I wish the jacuzzi tub would have held hot water..it was a bit tricky to operate, instructions would have been nice. Also when booking We we’re under the assumption we would be located beach front with sand to walk on…sadly the walk out on the private pier was just that..a long walk to a fishing pier. No sand😕. Overall the stay was nice and We would book again. Lots of space for our party of 10

Great Stay

Stayed in this house for a Wedding in Georgetown. The house was very nice, but the listing was not 100% accurate. There are 6 bedrooms, 1 on the top floor and 4 on the main floor with 1 bed each, and then 1 basement room that is reached through the garage with a small bed an a pullout. The deck was nice, but you are on top of you neighbors. Overall, still a great stay.

Girls Trip

The property was absolutely beautiful! It's a bit further away from the Myrtle Beach and more tourists areas, but the house made up for the distance. The deck seems to have been recently updated and was absolutely beautiful! The home is 3 layers of gorgeousness and comfortably accommodated me and my party of 11 ladies. We were all very pleased!

Beautiful Getaway

We very much enjoyed our stay! 4 bedrooms on main floor with 2 full baths - clean and nicely decorated. Master suite is the entire second floor - with large jacuzzi and amazing view! As we were traveling with friends only, we decided who would take the master suite prior prior to arrival to avoid conflicts. Indoor dining table for 6 people, outdoor space dining for 10. We spent most of our time outdoors around the fire pit. We ended up cooking over the fire pit, instead of using the grill. Access to the bay for fishing! Beautiful and newly renovated private pier (we estimated about 1/4 mile walk down the walkway). Plenty of seating to sit and enjoy the views. Of course lots of wildlife and birds at the end of the pier - pelicans, sea gulls and cormorants. Kitchen was fairly well stocked in terms of pots, pans and plates. Most importantly clean. Host was extremely accommodating and responded quickly. Very friendly neighbors. A previous individual had commented on neighbors yard, yes they do have many lawn ornaments and decorations, but they take good care of the property and have a light up palm tree at night that we enjoyed. :) Downtown Georgetown is about a 5 minute drive with cute shops and places to eat. There was a ping pong table/pool table in the garage but did not use during our stay. Amazing views, clean and updated place. Would definitely stay again :)

Inaccurate Listing

Overall the house was nice as pictured. But the listing stated that it included a private pier. The pier itself had a sign at the entrance warning it was unsafe and to “Use at your own risk”. There was missing steps and steps that were so rotted, it could beak at any moment. right before the end of the dock, it swayed and rocked so bad, it had no support and was ready to break at any moment. The Home owner Shouldn’t even include W/ private pier in there listing because that is very misleading if you can’t even use the pier/dock. We are a family that loves to fish, crab and catch shrimp. But the dock was so unsafe, we weren’t able to do those things and it was a wasted trip. Should we have known that the dock was not safe to use, we would have not rented this place. No wonder there was barely any pictures of the pier/dock. But the owner did include pictures of the neighbors dock. Home owner should list this place as “ with marsh view” because thats all you will be doing while you’re there.
