Welcome to The Arcadian I, a beautifully decorated oceanfront condo in a peaceful, exclusive area on the North end of Myrtle Beach. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo comfortably sleeps up to four guests. The master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, while the second bedroom offers two twin beds. The spacious living area features a 55" flat-screen smart TV, and the large oceanfront balcony offers panoramic views of the coastline. Both the living room and master bedroom provide amazing oceanfront views, ensuring you can feel the beach at your doorstep.

Beautiful Location, But an Unwelcoming Experience

I booked a stay at Arcadian Shores for a safe, comfortable beach week in Myrtle Beach. The unit matched the listing, clean, nicely decorated, and with comfortable sleeping areas. However, several issues impacted our stay. The dishes were coated in detergent, requiring soaking before use, which discouraged us from cooking. Hot water took a long time to come through, and the master shower made a loud squealing noise. The balcony had a beautiful view, but the furniture was damaged and the railing spacing dangerously wide, not safe for children.The biggest issue was the treatment we received from security. A few days into our stay, we were approached for unloading e-bikes, stating we couldn't keep them there, despite the bike rack. He settled for us paying to store them. Our teen sons took one brief lap around the parking lot to test them before heading out. Immediately, the same guard confronted us, this time with his hand on his weapon. They weren’t loitering, just preparing to leave. Minutes later, one of my sons crashed off-site and was injured. It was an unnecessary injury that could’ve been avoided had they been given even a moment to practice safely.This stay felt unwelcoming. Although we were respectful guests, we were treated very differently from others. We were the only mixed-race family there, and by the end of the trip, that difference was hard to ignore. I’ve visited Myrtle Beach for years and never felt so targeted. A very disappointing experience overall.

Condo not clean. Fits ill fitting the beds. Artificial fingernail found in direct sight. Refrigerator leaking water. Stains on carpet. It felt like we were the first to stay in years. Condo smelled dusty and musty on arrival. Overall could be a great condo. But needs some attention.

We stayed in this condo for 4 nights, the communication between the host and i was impeccable. The condo was comfortable and clean. The view of the ocean was perfect, however, the building had construction going on during our stay which did not allow us to use the balcony for two days of the 4. And the pool was only avaliable to use when workers were not present after noon. We did enjoy the ocean, but really enjoyed getting out of the windy, wavy ocean and sitting by the pool. Slightly inconvenient, but over all it was a nice place to stay.
