The perfect place to stay for a break in Cottage Country! Relax in the open plan living room and kitchen with huge picture window or cozy up in the Muskoka room to enjoy the fresh air. 4 bedrooms plus a pull-out couch leaves you ample space to bring all the friends and family you want. 10 min drive to Bala, close to local hiking trails and brewery. Pet friendly, crib available.

Please note there are a lot of stairs leading from the cottage down to the waterfront.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The check-in and check-out we're very easy and convenient. The kitchen had everything that we needed. The bedrooms and living area were clean and tidy. The water was very warm and the neighbors were quiet. My kids want to come back again next year!

We had a wonderful stay! The cottage was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. Check-in and check-out were seamless, making the whole experience stress-free. The location was perfect—just a short drive to both Bala and Port Carling, which made for some great day trips. We’d be happy to rent again in the future.

Lovely Canada Day Stay

We enjoyed our stay in this property specially the deck, fire pit and spacious common areas. It would have been nice to have bathroom and beach towels. The place was clean and there were sufficient kitchen supplies, blankets and board games. We brought floaties to enjoy the water.

Great stay

We had a lot of fun at the cottage with grown up kids and two dogs. The deck was amazing with its 3 levels and spectacular views (would have been nice to have kayaks or a canoe to enjoy the lake though). Location was great, super close to Bala. Cottage had a good vibe, could have been a bit cleaner…and cheaper. Great stay overall.

Bala is beautiful

It was such a beautiful setting, cozy cottage to get away in. Had some septic issues,but owners were right on it & gave us a night's stay refund for the inconvenience. Thank you Cassie for being understanding and giving us lots of memories

Great location, beautiful views

This location gets a 10/10 for waterfront, nicely paved roads, close proximity to town of Bala and relatively short distance from GTA. Property manager Cassie lives next door and very professional and prompt in response rate. Some of group have allergies to dust, animal dander etc, and had zero issues with allergies! That means it was very clean, 10/10. Also, dogs allowed so great for families. The cottage itself is a bit old and outdated, small rooms and only has one washroom and no dishwasher but does have laundry. The cottage itself is a 7/10 and makes the current price of ~$600 a night difficult to justify. There are a lot of stairs to water which would not be ideal or possible for elderly, disabled, or obese. Some recommendations: 1. need dishwasher, 2. steps from dock to get into water from shore other than the ladder, 3. watercraft with waiver to sign if liability is an issue. In terms of value, a bit expensive but again with current supply and demand issues understandable, hopefully see a 30-40% decrease in coming years. Overall a great stay!

Amazing stay!

We were a bit hesitant to book as there weren’t many reviews, but we could not have been happier with the cottage. It was perfect! We like to cook and it had everything that we needed. Despite only one bathroom for the 5 of us for 4 nights, it actually wasn’t an issue at all. The space is great for families. Also, Cassie was amazing to deal with - she responded to texts super fast and fulfilled all requests that we had. We look forward to booking the cottage again next year.

Great place to stay

Had a great time place was perfect and had that rustic feel to it was wonderful to enjoy the water in the full sun and go back to fire pit area and cool off in the shade. Did run out of propane and was brought a new tank next day Owner was very helpful and quick to respond with any questions. hope to get back there again

Was good place its beautiful,

The renters are great you need anything there right there to get it, respond quickly to any messages or concerns at any time of day. Beautiful stay on the water with a beautiful dock, could create more fun for teenagers or children with more water activity . ( kayak’s)
