"Room was charming and spotless. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was recently remodeled. Tub a little difficult to maneuver as a senior but most in Europe are. We especially enjoyed the secret door to the castle walkways at night."

"Very nice small hotel. Nice helpful staff. OBS. try to get a room to the back. Very noisy trolly transports in the street starting very early."

"Room was clean and had a great view to watch people coming to the Mont. staff was friendly at check in. Breakfast was good, staff not the friendliest. Parking made it easy to get to the island but had a daily fee. Rooms are very small. We did not like the soufflé and meal was extremely over priced. Much better options for meals at other restaurants on the island. Staying on Mont St Michel is awesome, stay two nights and go to services at the Abbey as well as the tour. "There are very few options on the island. We have stayed twice and both hotels were typical euro hotels. However, they are very rustic due to the fact that they are built into the mountain, Lots of character. Parking is off site but there is a free shuttle. Make sure you get detailed instructions to get to the pay lot. You will need a code and park at the Le Relais hotel. Check in is also there and quick, Shuttle will pick you up just outside."

"Check in at Le Relais was easy, Le Saint Aubert was not far, parking was easy, rooms were small but very clean, and breakfast was great! Easy access to the shuttle to Mt St Michel, out front just down the street. Would recommend!"

"A little gem with a very warm welcome. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely return when we’re in the area."

"The family were so lovely and welcoming. We got to meet the father who was so very interesting and shared many memories and stories of the Chateau and his family. Would recommend staying to all for a unique French Chateau experience. Also loved the five-course evening meal by the chef, truly unique."

L’établissement est particulièrement adapté aux familles, grâce à son ambiance calme et à ses équipements pratiques. Je recommande sans hésiter pour un séjour agréable et reposant."

"A very comfortable, friendly, family run hotel in an ideal location for exploring Avranche, Mont Saint Michel and the surrounding area."

"Cute property in a relaxing rural setting. This place was a great value and a welcome change from staying in hotels in busy areas. Host is very ecologically conscious. Great breakfast! Bed was comfortable. Bedding and towels were clean and crisp from being line dried. Would have enjoyed having one more day here."
