Museu de la Ciutat Vogtturm

My daughter and I absolutely loved this hotel. It’s really well situated, only a ten-minute walk from the station and a bit less to Mirabell Gardens. There are bus, tram and s-bahn stops a few steps from the hotel and guests get a free Guest Mobility Pass for the duration of their stay, which we found really helpful. Our room was fabulous: really big with a separate dressing room/entrance/storage area and bathroom. Comfy bed, excellent shower, desk, TV, sofa, poufs, armchair. All spotlessly clean. After reading several reviews disparaging the breakfast, I was pleasantly surprised to find a properly laid-out breakfast in a beautiful room. It’s not a full continental breakfast, but this is what is on offer: hot drinks (tea/coffee/hot chocolate), fruit juice, croissants, bread rolls (white and brown seeded), butter, jams, two types of herby spreadable cream cheese. Also milk and lactose free. The staff are wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. Quiet hotel. After 7, réception closes, and there is no bar or restaurant. There is lovely lobby area for gathering and there are two outside areas with tables and chairs. Genuinely, I cannot fault this hotel, and I heartily recommend it to couples and families with grown up children, like mine. We loved our stay here and will definitely return if we go back to Salzburg.

The facilities available at the property for location and value for money were excellent! We didn’t do the buffet breakfast as this was 28 EUR pp but the gym and sauna were excellent and the check in and check out experience incredibly efficient also. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had an excellent night’s sleep - would come back!
