GOOD TIMES is designed for fun and relaxation. If have any questions, ask and I will reply! We have the most beautiful long range mountain views that you have ever seen offered in this non-smoking, cedar chalet with handicapped ramp access. Our four bedroom, three full bath chalet has areas to gather everyone and areas for your own space. This include three acres with a large flat play area, circular driveway and plenty of parking space. This Non-Smoking home will sleep two to ten in comfort. Each floor is designed for comfort, privacy and convenience. All living areas have breathtaking views!! Our home comes ready for your enjoyment. We have lots of games for indoors and out (horseshoes,etc). All linens, laundry/ dishwasher soaps, tissues, paper towels, napkins, spices, PAM and cooking oils are available to make your getaway much easier. Just come looking for a wonderful memory maker. You will be very close to town, on excellent roads(one turn from main Hwy 64/74),plenty of parking space, circular driveway, near the Flea Market, between the Ocoee and Nantahala Rivers for whitewater enthusiasts,close to Lake Hiwassee for fishing or boating, not far from golfing, but still eel the privacy of getting away from it all! With wrap around decking, maintained lawn service(scheduled around guests arrival), covered porch,screened in porch, plenty of rockers, outdoor furniture, large outdoor grill, gated deck, you can't help but have a Good Time! The main floor has a vaulted ceiling overlooking the Great Smokies and is tastefully decorated with leather furniture, game table, wireless internet, large flat screen TV, VCR, DVD, rockers, dining room including solid walnut table with antler chandelier, solid wood furniture throughout, very well equipped kitchen, a bedroom with queen size bed and full bath. Also, there is a family room, with a Vermont Cast Iron gas stove, TV,VCR, DVD with two bedrooms and large full bath. One bedroom has a queen bed, the other has two twin trundles (sleeps 4). Both have doors to the full bath. The romantic loft bedroom comes complete with king size bed, jetted tub, and fabulous mountain views from the oversized windows. Our mattresses and furniture are so comfortable that we have comments regarding them in our guestbooks and inquiries as to where they can be bought!

This home is perfect for family reunions, Spring Time in the Mountains, Summer Fun, Fall Leaf Changing, or that special occasion. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are very special at Good Times, as our past visitors have stated. Please reserve early for summer or holidays. Email today for more information. Good Times in Murphy

It was absolutely perfect for me and my two ladies. We crafted, explored and relaxed. The home was cozy and had everything we needed for an amazing stay. We are already talking about making another trip in the fall.

Beautiful location, lovely town!

The cabin property is awesome and easy to find from a major highway. Downtown Murphy was very inviting with some great shopping and restaurants-highly recommend Chevells (great fried shrimp and cheese ravioli) and Legends (1st class ribeye and the best spinach artichoke dip/chips ever)! Margie was easy to communicate with and very responsive before and during our stay. We made several day trips also as Murphy is centrally located to NC, GA, and TN. Really enjoyed our multi-generational family girls trip ❤️

Loved our stay.

We had a great short stay. The home is great for a family of adults to spend time together, but also be able to spread out. We loved the home and the view. The host was a great communicator. Thank you, we had a great weekend!

Cousin River rafting trip

There were 7 in our mostly family party that stayed at Good Times. The property was perfectly 1/2 way between the Ocoee and Nantahala Rivers. We rafted/kayaked one or the other each day and loved coming back to the cozy cabin to eat, relax, and visit. The property owner was always available and a very gracious host:)

very nice gettaway

The cabin was way more than we expected! If you are looking to enjoy some quiet time away from the city and crowds of people, this is the place. We had a ball and with all the room and outside areas everyone was able to find a happy place! Would definitly recommend

Great Cabin!

We had a great time at this wonderful cabin. It is nice and roomy with beautiful views. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with anything you might need. Good Times Indeed

Great cabin surrounded by trees and with a fantastic view off the north deck. Additionally, great screened in porch on East side if the bugs are out. Margie was great to communicate with. We saw some deer and a variety of birds around the cabin. I will definitely put this listing on places I would go again. Murphy River Walk is fantastic. Bill

Beyond Our Expectations!

My family absolutely LOVED staying at Good Times! There were 9 of us, and there was plenty of room to spread out and take advantage of each space. We loved that there was a full bathroom on each of the 3 levels, and the kitchen was better stocked with cooking supplies than any other rental I’ve stayed in. My husband and I stayed in the upstairs loft, and the water in the shower got warm quickly and the pressure was good! We found the bed to be very comfortable. There were games downstairs and plenty of seating options around the house. And what a view from the deck! My husband and I got up early our last morning there to watch the sunrise over the mountains. Beautiful! Margie was a very gracious hostess and very easy to communicate with throughout the booking process and during our stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area!

The best VRBO ever

This property was even better than we thought it would be! 3 levels allowed us to spread out. Ample dining and living areas allowed us to gather. Views were amazing. Kitchen was well stocked. We had a ball!

AMAZING Views

What a comfortable place, super easy to get to. The cabin had more than enough room for the 4 adults, and was convenient to Murphy, NC, where we were able to do grocery shopping, and visit the casino. The best part about the cabin is the wrap-around deck, with absolutely stunning views of the mountains. If you're looking for a place to spend some time relaxing, I would recommend GOOD TIMES!

Celebrated Family Christmas

The cabin was perfect for 8 adults and an infant. We enjoyed the Christmas decorations and location. The views were amazing!! The cabin was well stocked-especially the kitchen. We cooked all of our holiday favorites and even used the cabin’s Christmas dishes when we set the table!! It was very comfortable and felt like home away from home. My adult children are ready to go back next year!!

Beautiful Home - Terrific Owner

We booked "Good Times" for our early Thanksgiving family dinner. Our families are spread out across north Georgia and North Carolina so this home was in a convenient location. The cabin was super easy to find. The home itself is wonderful. The owner has taken great care to make you feel at home. We had everything we needed while we were there! The kitchen is very well stocked. Plenty of room for our family to spread out. Wonderful!!

Really good times

As we entered the house, I was impressed by how lovely it was and not just like every other pine walled cabin we have stayed in in the area. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and easy to work in. The refrigerator even had a working ice maker which is a great plus. The furniture was comfy and I loved all the rocking chairs. The wrap around deck was a perfect spot for leaf peeking and star gazing. I really appreciated the screened in porch which comes in very handy in mosquito weather! With plenty enough room, beds and baths, our group of 5 was ever so comfortable and happy we had the opprotunity to stay here.

Mountain Getaway

Sometimes what you see online is not what you get when you arrive at the place but Good Times was on point and Margie Murphy was very pleasant to talk to. The place was just the right size for all 10 of us. The view was amazing! I was able to watch the sun rise while enjoying my cup of coffee on the deck. It was exhilarating!
