Family Friendly Guest house-3 bedroom, 2 bath. Custom farm/craftsman

This beautiful farm-style home is newly built. It sits on 6.5 acres of tree-covered land, just 3 miles south of Mountain View city limits. This home has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, and an open loft area that's perfect for a reading room, office or used as an extra bedroom. You'll love the front and rear porches and the oversized yard; there is plenty of room to play or to build a campfire. Mountain View is famous for its great fishing, hiking, swimming, bike riding, and more! Be sure to visit Blanchard Springs Caverns, the Ozark Folk Center, or join in on the live music at the courthouse square during your visit. Kids are certainly welcome but house is not “baby proof.” (No locking cabinets, etc.). I do have a baby gate and a high chair if needed. Great facility .... except... (this is just for the owner)... 1. I believe the description said... cable tv and there was none. There WAS internet and several people had signed onto several apps (Netflix, Prime, Hulu, etc...) on the TVs and that is what we used.2. The description stated well equipped kitchen. I don't know if things have been stolen but the kitchen was poorly equipped. No bowls/casserole dishes to serve things in. No serving utensils. There were some nice dishes but silverware was limited. I understand some of this gets thrown away accidentally or stolen. (we had a B&B).Just a heads up... because if you don't stay there yourself, you wouldn't know.Kudos... BEAUTIFUL location and we used the outdoors for several of my granddaughter's senior picture poses. The house is darling and I didn't remember anything in the description about the daybed in the small sitting room upstairs which was a pleasant surprise. So... the house actually sleeps 7. VERY peaceful location and we enjoyed it.Good Luck with the sell.Becca

weekend trip to mountain view

Check in was easy and our hostess was very nice and helpful. The kitchen was equipped with all the comforts of home. We had access to the Wi-Fi and TV channels were sufficient for our stay. The home was located in the perfect area for us. Outside of the city limits but close enough to make a quick trip for food and eating at the many local restaurants. We enjoyed it very much and look forward to staying again.

Overall happy with the stay. The house looks bigger on listing then it really is. Even though spacious looks bigger in the pictures. BBQ grill was very small and cheap we had to cook in shifts. Lots of ants everywhere outside made it hard to enjoy setting out there. There were alot of dead lady bugs or Japanese Beatles in the house, they could have been swept up before we arrived. House was very clean otherwise. Not alot of cooking utensils to cook with or baking dishes. Overall satisfied and would stay again if we had to. Host responded quickly and was nice. Also realized ght in the highway with alot of traffic noise.

Great place

Nice house and great communication with Karen. One small issue upon check-in, but was resolved almost immediately and the rest of our stay was uneventful. Nice place for a quick weekend trip to visit Blanchard Springs (30 min drive).

Awesome place!

I give this vacation stay 5 stars. Karen was so cooperative and helped us in every way. The house is beautiful and so clean. She had everything that we needed. The location was quite but still a few miles from town. We look forward to staying there again. Thank you so much!

Beautiful comfortable home

The space was beautiful and comfortable for our family of six. We put the kitchen, charcoal grill and firepit to good use! Check in and out was a breeze and I had nice communication with the renter. Also, location was very convenient to town.

Thoughts

The home is very nice, pretty new I would say. Nice property nice view 5 minutes from town. The only thing for our group was the house seemed to be noisy meaning you can here someone walking around in the kitchen or upstairs from the downstairs bedrooms. W e were able to adapt though and enjoy our stay.

Wonderful!

Our stay was just what we wanted! The home was roomy and maybe the cleanest place we have ever stayed. We appreciated how well stocked it was with paper towels, toilet paper, etc. The owner sent us extra directions and was very helpful. We would definitely stay there again and we recommend it!

The house is quiet and clean. It’s a little far out of town but not overly inconvenient. Karen was great about making sure we able to find our way. She was extremely responsive to any questions we had after checking in.

Newly remodeled hoem great for a family. Not far from down town Mt. view. Only complaint is a better knife to cut with. I really couldn’t find anything. 😂
