BELLEVUE is a quiet, private six bedroom residence that easily accommodates 12 people. It is at literally the highest point of the Blue Mountains - 1,110M above sea level. BELLEVUE is so named for its "beautiful view'" - in the top ten of Blue Mountains private properties. The views from the loungeroom span to Kanangra Walls over 100kms away. Closer are the stunning cliff escarpment views.

BELLEVUE is located in a quiet no through road in the heritage listed suburb of Mt Victoria. At this altitude snow is common mid-winter. Breath in the fresh air at this beautifully renovated home that is 1KM, (walking distance), from Mt Victoria station. The property is over an acre (4,500 sqm) and the rear boundary is the Blue Mountains World Heritage park.

BELLEVUE sleeps 12 guests in 6 bedrooms (3 KING beds and 3 QUEEN beds) with luxury white linen in the following configuration:

MASTER BEDROOM = luxury pillow top KING bed, gorgeous mountain views, under-floor heating, built in robes and ensuite with heated floor, professional hair care products and a bath tub.
2ND BEDROOM = luxury latex KING bed, under floor heating and gorgeous mountain views.
3RD BEDROOM = luxury pillow top KING bed, built in robes, direct access to the veranda and garden,
4TH BEDROOM = luxury pillow top QUEEN bed, built in robes and garden vista,
5TH BEDROOM = luxury pillow top QUEEN bed, built in robes and garden vista,
6TH BEDROOM = luxury pillow top QUEEN bed and garden vista,

Two good quality travel cots are provided - located in the wardrobes of the Master bedroom and the 3rd bedroom. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN COT LINEN.

All beds have luxury pillow-top mattresses, quality linen, multi-zone electric blankets, luxury pillows of various firmness, donnas, donna covers, mattress and pillow protectors and large soft bath towels. All our linen at BELLEVUE is washed using hypo-allergenic laundry detergent that is suitable for people with sensitive skin. Weather permitting, all our linen is line dried to improve freshness and deliver better quality and sanitation for our guests.

Our King and Queen mattresses are superior quality and cannot be split into two discrete beds. All bedrooms have block-out blinds so you can sleep in.

The new kitchen has gorgeous mountain views, Caesarstone benchtops, under bench LED lighting and Miele appliances: gas cooktop, rangehood, electric oven and dishwasher. A fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee machine (capsules), a French press (coffee plunger), a milk frothier, a slow cooker, a rice-cooker and toaster are all provided. The convection microwave is a large, top tier brand, i.e. there are two ovens, both with grills, plus a slow cooker and a rice cooker. The kitchen is fully appointed including, two cast iron French ovens, fry pans, saucepans, plenty of glassware, cups, plates, bowls, crockery, utensils and a large selection of cookbooks. The pantry is stocked with some key staples; e.g. a Twinings Tea chest, a starter pack of coffee capsules, cooking oil, salt, pepper, spices, paper towels and cleaning products. Feel free to pick from our small herb garden. All bookings receive a complimentary bottle of wine.

The adjoining dining room has stunning views and comfortable seating for 12 guests at a dining table built for 14 people - there is plenty of elbow room.

The home is beautifully appointed with high quality furniture including a very large loungeroom with large, soft, comfortable lounges.

The loungeroom has the best views of the home and also includes a large 75" HD SMART TV mounted on the wall, free to air digital TV and unlimited fast internet so you can access your Netflix, STAN and YouTube! A stereo with CD & radio are also provided as is a small CD library. For the kids there is a separate 42" TV with DVD player downstairs (in the kid's rumpus room) with a good library of DVDs provided. Free-to-air channels are also available.

The temperature in the whole home is managed by a state-of-the-art, 8 zone, ducted air-conditioning system. There is also a large slow combustion fireplace with a three-speed fan. Sometimes our gardener leaves firewood on the lower lawn however it is quickly consumed by guests. Firewood may be purchased from any petrol station in the Blue Mountains or from any of the hardware stores in Katoomba and Blackheath. The Mt Victoria petrol station is open 24 hours, 365 days/year.

The main bathroom is renovated with a large free-standing bathtub set in a gorgeous bay window, a large separate 'rain' shower, two heated towel rails and a heated LED mirror, (i.e. anti-fog) with built in Bluetooth speakers. You can stream music from our WIFI into the mirror. A separate toilet with luxury toilet paper is also provided. Note the ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom also has a bathtub - there are two bathtubs at BELLEVUE All our bathrooms are stocked with professional hair-care products - not cheap supermarket brands.

The large mud room includes two front loader washing machines (Miele) and two auto sensor dryers. An iron & ironing board are located in the wardrobe of the 3rd bedroom.

Our security system includes keyless entry, (note the entry code will be sent via an SMS text on the day of your check-in), automatic lighting, security sensor lighting, and hard-wired smoke detectors, (not batteries).

All internal lighting is dimmable LED's throughout the entire home.

Outside there is an enormous sunny deck with an outdoor dining setting for ten people and a five burner BBQ that is plumbed into natural gas - you never have to change gas bottles!

There is plenty of room for the kids to explore, play games and the north garden includes a large oval SPRINGFREE trampoline and swing set. The western terrace has an outdoor brazier to share good times whilst overlooking the gorgeous views. There are multiple gardens, each with their own tranquillity. In late winter/early spring, literally thousands of daffodils and snow bells appear.

There is ample parking in the white pebble circular driveway which has automatic lighting.

Kangaroos, king parrots, rainbow lorikeets, crimson rosellas, whip birds, bell birds, lyre birds and eagles are just some of the wildlife that frequent the garden which has thousands of flowers in spring.

This home provides a unique base from which to relax and enjoy everything the Blue Mountains has to offer. The whole Mt Victoria village is heritage listed with some of the best and oldest history of the region; two examples being the train museum at Mt Victoria station and the Imperial Hotel. Both have a Royal history.

We had a wonderful time at Bellevue. The house was modern, warm, clean and spacious with amazing views! It had 6 bedrooms in total, and as we were a group of 5 "older" women having a get-together, we had a bedroom each. The lounge room had a large 3 piece u-shaped lounge (perfect for watching "City Slickers" together), and the views! The dining area was also well catered for with seating for 12 - perfect for playing games and lots of belly laughs. The Mt Victoria township was small (you must go to the "Victoria and Albert" Hotel for a meal or two) but very quiet which suited us, and we saw three kangaroos twice in our street. We went to Scenic World and Echo Point in Katoomba and Govetts Leap in Blackheath. All in all it was a great few days.

Birthday weekend

Have just spent a lovely weekend at Bellevue to celebrate the birthday of one of my daughters. The house worked perfectly for the six of us with plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and the lounge room is huge, but cosy at the same time, and that view is just amazing. The main bathroom (which serves the four bedrooms upstairs), was a hit with my daughters and daughter-in-law. The master with ensuite is downstairs, as is the children’s area and one other bedroom. I Highly recommend Bellevue for adults and older children. Small children I feel, would need careful supervision outside, due to the different levels of the grounds, especially if you have adventurous little ones.

Amazing stay!

We loved staying in this house. The view is amazing and the house itself was perfect for our large group with its spacious multiple living areas. Everything was very modern and immaculately clean. The location was a nice quiet neighbourhood, central to everywhere we wanted to go. It had multiple off street car parking spaces for our cars. We had an awesome weekend and we cannot wait to stay here again!!!

Cutlery was substandard.Fire wood was not supplied.3rd toilet required.Only one set of towels etc suppied,no face washer.Single blanket supplied for queen,double supplied for king.Toilet bowl in master is dirty,only hydrochloric acid will clean it.Washing powder was not supplied for laundry.No nice soaps suppied etc,only pumped products.We expected a higher standard after the great reviews,but it was not so.We loved the view and the tranqility,great set up in the laundry.Overall we enjoyed our stay except items as noted.Also one burner is not working on the BBQ.

Special house for a special occasion

What can I say, this house and surrounds was a beautiful place to reunite with old friends from around the country and enjoy the magic of the blue mountains. The lounge area was the perfect spot to catch up with a cheese plate and wine overlooking the stormy skies. The property manger gave a great summary of things to do and places to go after booking which really helped us plan our stay. Best: Comfy beds, fire place, views were everything! Relaxing short break with friends

Mt Victoria is a very peaceful and quiet location. The view from the lounge and dining rooms was spectacular and you could spend hours just admiring it. The property had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and the beds were very comfortable. It suited the 6 of us very well, however if there had of been more guests, the two bathrooms may have been a challenge. The host, Richard, was easy to reach and communicated all the information before we arrived. Just a note, there are no shops at Mt Victoria so we were lucky that we got our supplies before we reached there.

Just like the photos but in real life

The place is as it is described and pictured, STUNNING. Richard was so easy to reach and provided great communication in the lead up to our check in and was reachable if required during the stay. But there was no need, since the house was everything we thought it would be AND MORE! Waking up to stunning views, and to house that had everything you needed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the region and it is so well furnished and situation for big groups. The house had everything you needed, and even had some visitors come visit everday in the form of kangaroos in the yard. Our family reminisces on our stay already in such a fond way, and its only been a matter of days since returning. A trip and house to remember. Truly stunning views and beautiful place to call home for the time that you stay.

Fantastic Girls’ Weekend at Bellevue

Our group of six had a fantastic girls' weekend at Bellevue. The location was perfect – close to local attractions while still offering peace and seclusion. The house was incredibly spacious, giving us all plenty of room to unwind. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the living room was the perfect place to take in the stunning views. I can’t recommend Bellevue enough!

Heaps of space and endless views

Beautiful house, lots of rooms, views are stunning and the fireplace was delightful. Was very windy the weekend we came up so couldn’t really utilise the outdoor areas and fire pit.

Girls weekend get away

Amazing views, in a suburban street but once inside the home it doesn’t feel like it. Communication from the owner Richard was prompt and friendly. We stayed in catching up with each other and the home accommodated our group of 6 perfectly. No need to room share and enough lounge space for everyone to laze. No firewood is supplied, with the aircon there is no need for it but worth noting if you like to use a fire.

Not as luxe as advertised.

Beautiful view and gardens but the amenity varied. The zoned heating was excellent and the kitchen, laundry appliances top notch. But there were issues big and small that put a dampener on the overall experience: The sensor light near upstairs bedrooms came on at varied times every night waking us up despite the blinds being down. They are very bright! We assumed possums or similar triggering them but I’ve never experienced the issue before. For a high cost, billed as luxury place, some things are shoddy or a bit cheap -ill fitting door handles, wobbly toilet roll holder, Aldi coffee machine (not good) Aldi toiletries and more including tiny ineffective heated towel rails but almost no other places to hang towels or clothes in bathrooms,a tea pot but no strainer, cheap plastic cooking utensils, mismatched crockery, 2 electric blankets that didn’t work, a very dangerous mat in front of the fireplace that slipped all the time, causing a trip hazard. The fire screen is too small for the fireplace and the wood we were able to purchase locally as none was provided was wet and mouldy. We had young children, which was declared and there are swings in the yard but they were extremely dirty and rusty and no effort appears to have been made to clean them. There were cobwebs here and there & bathroom light/heater is mouldy. This was an expensive rental and we were happy to pay but expected the experience to align better with the cost. The location and the view are glorious however.

Amazing family stay

We had a wonderful time here, we stayed indoors and played cards and games and I was well stocked and had a beautiful vibe with an amazing view at every angle 😊 we were lucky enough to wake up and see some snow falling, made the kids holidays even that much better, Thank you for having us all!
