Set in the small hamlet of Netherton, a few miles from the pretty town of Rothbury and only 4 miles from Thropton with two excellent pubs both doing food. Netherton is only 3 miles from the Northumberland National Park so is ideal for walkers and cyclists. The location is set in the middle of the county so perfect for exploring in all directions, maximising your time in Northumberland.

The beautiful Heritage Coast can be reached in just 18 miles, where miles of golden beaches and castles await. Hadrian’s Wall is around 40 miles, while the border towns in Scotland are a mere 32 miles and are steeped in history. Visit Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland and featured in some Harry Potter scenes, only 18 miles away. Northumberland is a diverse county with miles of beautiful beaches, inland moors, a Gold Tier International Dark Sky National Park, Hadrian’s Wall stretching from east to west steeped in history and a trip to Newcastle to see the wonderful architecture.
