"Beautiful view"

"A great room with a great view of the harbor."

"We loved the separate building with a view of the lake, housing the hot tub, sauna and change rooms. The room was clean, spacious and the staff were all helpful and friendly. There was a bowl of apples at the front desk and fresh coffee available in the lobby 24/7. The only issue I had is that the fitness room opened at 8 am. I enjoy working out around 6 am, showering and then getting breakfast. An 8 am start time is too late, in my opinion."

"Walkable, nice place"

"Good"

"For a quick stay before a ferry ride, this worked."

"Good night sleep after a long day!"

"Nothing unique about the property but it was good for the price!"

"Clean room, great staff, amazing shower. The waterfall shower head was a standout. The TV remotes were kinda iffy and it was a gamble as to what each button did, which was a mixture of hilarious and mild frustration. Coffee maker in the room was broken and there are not a great amount of outlets. Slight musty smell but kept the window cracked open and it wasn't an issue. Other than that, nothing negative to say. Only mild inconveniences."

"The Painted Turtle was a good accommodation choice for my stay in Nanaimo. The location was convenient and the availability of cooking facilities was a plus."

"I enjoyed 4 wonderful nights and it was restful. Any future return and i will happily return."

"I had a self-catered 3-night solo silent retreat at Bethlehem and am so glad I did. If you want to unplug and reconnect within and with whatever you understand as creation, this is a great place to do it. The facilities are simple but more than adequate, the property is beautiful with a labyrinth, library, pond feature and more, and Westwood Lake could not be more beautiful."

"There was no heat in the room on a chilly night! Also, the maid just walked in at 9 am. this morning - she should have knocked - fortunately I was still in bed!"
