The space
Nature`s Retreat is the best of all world`s. This 4 Bedroom, 3.5 bathroom cabin in the mountains will leave you breathless. Offering a Mountain View, walking path to the Rushing Creek, a Game Room with Pool Table, Pinball Game, Dartboard, 2 Fireplaces, a Fire pit overlooking the view while listening to the music of the tumbling waterfalls, easy paved access - Seriously what more could you get out of a vacation. This is a mountain retreat you are never going to want to leave.

Upon arrival you`ll be welcomed by the beautiful surroundings of Nature`s Retreat. Lots of outdoor space to take in the wonders that keeps bringing you back to the Blue Ridge area over and over. Steps inside to find ample space in the living room, dining room and kitchen area. Cathedral ceilings and a Gas Log Fireplace. Decks abound from every room. There`s also a half bath off the living floor area for easy access so that all other bathrooms are private for the bedrooms.

The bedrooms floor plan is as follows - Upper level offers 2 bedrooms, One Queen room with a private screened in balcony and the other with a Full Size bed. Also on this level is a loft with a Futon sleeper, sitting area and TV.
The Main Floor has a master suite with Queen bed and private bathroom with a shower and Jacuzzi tub
The lower level offers a King Suite and private bathroom with a shower.

Speaking of the lower level.... You`ll find a 2nd full living room with a Futon Sleeper, another Gas Log Fireplace, Pool Table, Pinball Machine, Dart Board, a Bar area and a partial kitchen. Step outside to enjoy an evening by the fire pit or take a walk through the trails to the creek below where you`ll enjoy the sounds of nature flowing from this beautiful creek. There is so much to do at Nature`s Retreat!! Bring your essentials and you will never have to leave the cabin!!

Perfect mountain getaway
I stayed with a larger group including my 3 year old and my infant and the house was perfect for our family vacation. The home is exactly as pictured and it was easy to get to from the highway, my father and I were even able to go on walks in the morning to take in the scenery despite the roads being hilly and windy (not a ton of traffic coming through). Communication was great and easy access to a few small mountain towns and 2 hours from Atlanta. A deer even came up to the front porch on our last day there to say hello, my 3 year old loved it. I personally loved the fire pit and the game room. Overall a beautiful home/location and a great stay!

Great Family Cabin
We were a family of 8. Parents, 2 daughters + 1 husband and 3 teens -21 yr old. The home's layout was perfect with each family having their own level of beds and private baths. That is one of the most important aspects of searching for VRBO's for our family, each having their own bath. The main living & kitchen area, one bedroom with master bath and whirlpool tub are accesible from the ground level entrance at the front, maybe two steps to the porch. Perfect for the senior parents without steps. The younger folks split the upper level two beds and bath while the mother with teens used the downstairs bed and bath with two futons in the game room. Everyone was extremely happy with their accomadations. House is well stocked with anything you may need from kitchen utensils and appliances to bath items, towels, washer and dryer. A favorite place every morning was the main level outdoor deck where everyone drank coffee and enjoyed the comfortable north Georgia mountain August air. Down stairs game room was also lots of fun. Blue Ridge Ga. along with a few other towns are only about 10 mins from the house with plenty of activities, stores and restaurants. We went white water rafting down the Occoee River and family is still talking about it. If you like auto racing like I do, there's a Saturday Night dirt track nearby with some great racing action. The home was neat, clean and comfortable.Outdoor area is private with no other homes visible.The host very responsive and accomodating.

Wonderful location
We had a relaxing stay that included a visit from deer. One literally walked up and the whole family was able to pet it. Kids loved the game room! Great experience for everyone.

Great!
VERY clean!! I was so pleased with the cleanliness. I didn’t question the showers, bathrooms, or kitchen like I typically do when going to a hotel or something. This was very clean. The game room was just enough to do something in between taking naps. Pinball was a big hit. The only thing (and I say this with the smallest amount of criticism) is the creek is not as inviting as it looks. It’s right next to a road and through a steep path, with no real clear sitting point for a group. You can’t really go and relax by it with a book or whatever like I thought I would. Otherwise it was really nice to hear the water when sitting at the fire. It was very peaceful. All of my guests were impressed and loved the place. Everyone was asking me when we’d come back! It was great time and great stay. The owners can’t control this aspect, but I want to let others know so they are careful - we all had ticks on us each time we came back from showing each other the creek as people arrived. Not a big deal, but be cautious and aware when going in the woods.

We enjoyed the well stocked kitchen for family meals, the game room, drinking coffee in the morning on the spacious deck,and roasting marshmallows around the fire pit. The three levels made it nice for extended family. It is a great mountain getaway!

GREAT STAY!
We had a group of 7 people and it worked so perfectly for us. The game room was a hit and the wifi worked very well. We were worried bout cell reception but that was good too. Definitely can fin something to do. All the bathrooms, rooms and kitchen were very clean. The Host gave clear instructions on how to get into the property and was expected. Would stay here again !

Wonderful Family Time
The property was spotless, the home was excellent, the outside was beautiful and the fire pit was absolutely speechless for family time. The host and hostess were amazing, they had everything, they were easy to communicate and very willing to help when needed. Our arrival was very late and they helped us get three different families into the property. As a family we will be coming back.

Amazing Cabin Getaway
This is one of the nicest cabins I have stayed at. It is a gated community so you have safety and privacy. The drive is paved the whole way (uphill at the end but most cars should be fine). The cabin has plenty to do and everything has been well designed for an enjoyable stay. The firepit was especially nice and we spent plenty of time out there. We did have a deer come to our door one morning and hangout with us in the backyard so you are very much close to the wildlife and in nature.

Family Trip to Blue Ridge
This property was lovely and really well laid out for our family group with a variety of ages. And very clean! The downstairs area with the kitchenette was perfect for the little ones who got up for breakfast before the rest of the crew and the games down there were a hit! We loved being able to walk down to the creek, and had a fire in the fire pit multiple nights. The host was very communicative and helpful, we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect Cabin for a dudes weekend
We loved the basement most of all. Darts, pool table, fireplace, great view, big tv to watch UGA dominate Ole Miss. close to Blue Ridge and hiking in Blairsville. The owner was very helpful.

Family vacation
The cabin was just what we needed to regroup and enjoy each others company without distractions. We had everything we needed and more! The basement was a teenagers dream - pool, pin ball and pac-man and their own kitchen for snacks and drinks. The upstairs loft was perfect for my adult children who value sleep ;). We had a wonderful time and appreciated Kevin’s attention to detail and quick response to all my questions. His recommendation for boat rentals in the area came in handy for our day on Lake Blue Ridge. All in all a wonderful experience.

The property was set in a beautiful wooded area. The mountain was visible from the deck and was beautiful in the morning as the mist burned off. Kevin you were great answering any questions i had. We loved our stay and will keep your cabin in mind the next time we come your way.

Great choice!
This was a first time on VRBO and let me say we were not disappointed! This cabin was wonderful and more than we could have asked for. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The communication with the owner was perfect, even checked with us to make sure everything was good! It’s only about 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge but far enough out of town that its in the peace and quiet of the mountains with great views. They get 10 out of 10 from us! We will definitely be returning!
