OUR HOLIDAY HOME IS CLEANED AND SANITISED BY PROFESSIONAL CLEANERS

Set on Beach Road in picturesque fishing village of Johnshaven, Seashore House is a fully furnished, well-equipped holiday villa situated only a few feet from the shoreline. The villa faces south east and offers spectacular panoramic views out across the North Sea and along the coast line towards Montrose.


Accommodating up to eight people, this comfortable property provides well for self catering family groups.

On the ground level, the villa includes a modern kitchen furnished with hi tech appliances and an open plan living and dining area with views to the sea. A large washroom featuring a 'walk-in' shower is located opposite the downstairs bedroom, providing suitable facilities for visitors with restricted mobility. A patio and garden area to the rear completes 'home from home' experience.

The second floor accommodation includes two large well appointed bedrooms (double and twin), both with luxurious ensuite facilities and ample storage units.

Johnshaven is an ideal family holiday destination throughout the year.

Located around 7 miles north of Montrose on the A92, the village is in the heart of the South Aberdeenshire coastal region and within easy access of a range of activities; from nature and heritage trails to castles and stately home visits.

Within Johnshaven itself, visitors can find true relaxation in a welcoming and friendly community. Take a stroll down to the harbour, watch the small fishing boats land their catch and sample lobster from Scotland's largest shellfish merchant. Make use of the recreational facilities at Wairds Park to the rear of Seashore House.

The community managed park provides for all ages; safe play areas, tennis, bowls and putting as well as calendar and seasonal activities for all to enjoy. Take time out to walk along the ancient costal paths through un-spoilt scenery loaded with wildlife, Find a spot to look for dolphins, porpoise and whales in the sparkling waters.

Seashore House is available for short and long term holiday let. A full cleaning/linen service is provided weekly.

BEST vacation home on the coast!!

My family loved staying at this home! We had plenty of room for my family of 5. Being able to walk into the fishing village or drive 15 minutes into town, this house was the perfect location for seeing Scotland sites on the east coast. The kitchen had everything, the house was super clean....it was beautiful!!

Excellent location

Well equipped home, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. Ideal for what we wanted (2 couples and elderly lady). Excellent location. The home was comfortable and in the most part clean (a previous guest clearly had dogs and the windows were full of nose marks), bits of mould in the bathrooms. Could have done with a grab rail in the downstairs bathroom just to make it a bit more disabled friendly. Lovely and warm, excellent views out to sea and the village of Johnshaven, just a short walk along the coast was very friendly, with a well equipped village shop, seafood shop, cafe and pub selling excellent food. Overall we were very pleased with the house and location. Would recommend to friends.

JOHNSHAVEN

We had a lovely week at seashore house It's yards from the sea and everyone in the village is so friendly. The house has everything you need and 3 bathrooms are a bonus espcially if you have family. If you like seafood the lobster shack is a must. Watching the dolphins was an unexpectd surprise. Stephen and Gwen are next door so are on hand if any problems occur. We can definitely recomment this property.

Lovely village and home

Stephan and Gwen were delightful hosts and the house was large, comfortable, clean and a beautiful view. The hotel in town had really great food. Make sure you have reservations though. They did help us by letting us do take away when we didn’t. The area had so many great things to see. Really close to Stonehaven (our host told us about it) and you must see Dunnottar Castle located just a short drive from here. Had some gifts and fresh milk in the fridge on our arrival. The host lives next door so if we had an issue they were readily available. Definitely would stay here again.

We spent wonderful days at this nice seaside cottage. Great location right at the seaside. Very clean and convenient location. Direct acces to a nice costal walk towrds Gourdon.

Lovely home, bright, welcoming and in a great location

Family of four had a wonderful long-weekend break here. The house was well equipped for our needs, comfortable and clean - highly recommended and we would defintely go again. Johnshaven is a lovely location (with a great restaurant) and so are nearby Dunnottar Castle and Stonehaven.

Really very very good

Comfy, handy, well equipped. Thoroughly enjoyable stay. (Even saw orcas bobbing by). Dogs also give a full 5 stars for the location and "walkies" just a few steps away from outside the front door. We look forward to our next visit.

We had a fantastic week at Sea Shore House. The location is perfect - next to the sea but away from huddle and bussle. Easy travelling distance to Dundee, Aberdeen, Cairngorms etc. Rocky beach but great for exploring. Very definitely recommended

Seashore house

We all had a wonderful holiday the house itself was spotless with a picturesque view also very homely feeling with everything you need for your stay The hosts Gwen and Steve were lovely and left you to your own devices but there if needed. The village’s shop had everything you need e.g from sun cream to dog food there’s also a tearoom and the Anchor hotel for food with friendly staff and St Cyrus beach is stunning and only a ten minute drive away. Will definitely be going back I highly recommend it Thanks Gwen and Steve for our lovely peaceful holiday just what we needed

Great views, very clean and well equipped

Great location right at the sea, fab views from upper bedrooms and living room could sit and watch the seabirds for hours!Also spotted seals and dolphins. Very clean and comfortable and well equipped with self catering essentials. Enjoyed a coastal walk along to Inverbervie and a couple of local beer gardens. Great change of scenery post lockdown thanks!
