The Plateau Mont-Royal, this popular area that became yuppie-bohemian is by far the most hip in Montreal. Small intimate theaters, thrift stores, used bikes, exclusive boutiques, cafes, restaurants and delis add to the cultural ferment and bohemian atmosphere that characterize the Plateau, where all lifestyles converge.

This is the best place to really get a feel of what Montreal is all about. It’s community is predominantly francophone and highly eclectic. Artists, students, young professionals and new families mingle with each other, creating an extraordinarily vibrant and colorful human mosaic. Those who do not live there come as often as possible to play and go out, and for good reasons...

Four major arteries are heart the neighborhood: The Saint-Laurent Boulevard - `The Main` - where many cultural communities have established their shops, the Rue Saint-Denis and its multitude of shops, cafes and terraces, Prince Arthur Street and its restaurants `Bring your own wine` and the Mount Royal Avenue with bars both connected and relaxed. A constant hum contrasts with the tranquility of the side streets, the lined up stairs of twisted wrought iron, as well as the lush greenery of Parc La Fontaine.

From the Airport, you can take bus 747 all the way to metro station Berri-Uqam. From there use the metro up to station Mont-Royal (only 2 stations). You are at the apartment within a 5 minute of walk.

1. When you make a reservation with us, you are agreeing to all of the following House Rules. So please read carefully.

2. Guests are not allowed to make a reservation in their city of residence nor book for a third party, unless they obtained the host`s consent prior to booking. Please contact us if you`re from the greater Montreal area and/or booking for a third party. No such instant reservations are allowed. Note that if instant reservation of this kind occurs, we will have the right to cancel the reservation without guest`s notice or consent. Contact our team to learn more before confirming your booking.

3. Guest are required to fill an online Check-In form within a maximum of 48h after making the reservation and prior to checking in. The form will ask for a government issued ID, consistent with the identity of the person who made the reservation.

4. Check-in time occur between 4 pm and 11pm. You`re welcome to request an early check in, but this is not guaranteed and we can only confirm 24 hours in advance.

5. Parties or excessive noises are not allowed in our locations. Please respect other guests in the buildings. If more than one intervention is required or if the intervention of the police is required, all occupants will have to vacate the premises and the guest will lose the entire security deposit.

6. For the health and safety of all our guests, we DO NOT allow pets or smoking of any kind inside the apartment at any time. Breaking this rule will result in the loss of your entire security deposit.

7. The guest is responsible for keeping the space clean and in order. It is the responsibility of the guest to clean their dishes, bring furniture back to its original spot, pick up their trash and bring it out.

If a location is left in a messy state, we will charge $50 for every extra hour of cleaning required.

8. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises. Guests recognize that they may personally purchase insurance to protect themselves in such events.

9. If the number of people on the premises exceeds the number originally stated in the booking, the security deposit will be charged in full. Exceptions can occur.

10. If you notice anything that presents a danger that could result in damage to the location or to any individuals, let us know immediately. The condition of the premises is established before arrival and after departure. The visit after departure will allow the Landlord to review the general condition and cleanliness of the apartment. The premises must be return in perfect condition and entirely operational. Any damage to the apartment and its content will be charged to you, including a $ 50/hour fee to cover repair and/or replacement time (shopping, etc.).

11. If guests delay the cleaners from beginning their cleaning at the predetermined Check-Out time, guests will be charged $199/hour. This hourly fee doubles after 2h. The fee is applied at the start of the each subsequent hour.

This does not apply if our team has approved a late checkout in advance.

12. In the event that we have a legitimate cause for concern, (including but not limited to: electrical or plumbing issues, presence of pets, smoking inside the premises, overcrowding, neighbour complaint for excessive noise or other serious reasons), the apartment may be entered by a member of our team, without prior consent of the guest, to ensure its integrity.

Great location and apartment. Very comfortable, well equipped. Convenient central location with the crowds of Old Town. There was a problem down the street and our power went out. The management group were great helping us navigate getting in and out of the apt with a physical key as the locks are all electronic.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our four day stay in this immaculate, extremely well-stocked, and beautifully decorated apartment. The owners were very responsive and helpful and the location could not be beat. We had quick access to a grocery store, cafes and restaurants, and the Metro. Would highly recommend!

Exceptional!

The apartment was very clean, spacious and fully stocked. Location was close to the metro, a nice market and many great dining options within the neighborhood. We appreciated all the amenities and fully stocked items. We all slept well and had plenty of room. The hosts were incredible. They were very generous with their time, suggestions and replied promptly to communication. Access to the property and instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Great weekend away

We celebrated our anniversary with a wonderful weekend in Montreal, and this apartment was such a terrific place from which to enjoy the city! The hosts have thought of everything you'd need for your time away - it's a well-appointed apartment, very clean and very well maintained, and so close to everything one needs. It's also surprisingly quiet for being located right in the heart of the Plateau. We requested the private parking and were glad we did. The hosts made everything so easy and welcoming. Outstanding experience!

We had a top notch experience this past week! The hosts were phenomenal with their communication from the moment I booked the apartment and quite helpful and friendly, quickly answering any question I had. The apartment was just as I had expected, if not nicer. Very well-thought out touches, amenities and overall comfort and appearance. Location was terrific, with great bars, restaurants and coffee shops within steps, including the small grocery store next door. The metro was less than 10 minutes of a walk away, and an exceptionally efficient way to get anywhere downtown, in Old Montreal or in any other neighborhood outside of walking distance. A couple of lovely park areas were within a short walk. We would absolutely stay again and recommend this to anyone!! Thank you for a truly fantastic experience! :)

Good Location

The appearance and spaciousness of the unit was as described and the location is good, with coffee, bagel, clothing shops right there. I did have a few issues that prevent me from rating it 5-stars however: There's a sign of some-sort (I can't remember what the sign said) that has a constant light on the ceiling header between the laundry/kitchen area and secondary bedroom space. Not a bother during the day, but at night when all the lights are off it interfered with my sleep because of the constant brightness. The washing machine didn't spin well and left my clothes sopping wet even after a few tries (it was only a small-med size load and nothing bulky) I was surprised and a little put-off by number and type of required duties put on the guest at Check-Out (just one example being, Start a wash of towels). I feel these type of things should be taking care of within the cleaning fee that's charged.

Roomy, comfy apartment in vibrant neighborhood. Clean, everything worked, lots of room! Tastefully decorated. Neighborhood has everything: grocery store, great restaurants, bus and metro stops nearby. Parking was confusing but we got the hang of it.

This is the place to stay in Montreal!

Located on a bustling street with easy access to grocery and restaurants and close (15-20 min drive) to many attractions. The apartment was clean and exactly as listed! The host went above and beyond and many little details, like fans, coffee, dishwasher and washing machine soaps, made our stay that much better. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend staying with both this host and this specific location!

Great please...awesome location...if you are driving a car parking can be a challenge. Our host was nice enough to show us where to park (about a block away) . Montreal has great public transit and Uber if needed.

Great place!

Out family loved staying here - the apartment. was clean and had everything we needed. We could walk to many parts of the city without any trouble. Lots of great restaurants especially India rose, and boutiques and bakeries and bars and more. The owners were very helpful met us at the door, gave us all the information we needed for the house as well as dinner suggestions. They were very responsive. Thanks for a great homebase for our Montreal visit .

Fantastic location

We loved the location. The living space was clean and modern. The couch was comfortable and I liked the lighting to create ambience as we spent most evenings in with our baby and toddler. We bought groceries and local beer and were amazed at the high quality and selection of meat, cheese, bagels, bakeries, ice cream, fresh produce, local fair and shops steps away from the apartment. The owners made a manual for the condo and included their suggestions of places to get food close by and they have great taste. We went to many of the suggested places! There's 2 amazing parks/playgrounds walking distance away (La Fontaine and Sir Wilfred Laurier parks) We felt very safe walking everywhere and the metro station is close by too. We did a day trip to Old Montreal and we loved it but were very happy to come home to Mont Royal. The main street is always buzzing and vibrant...having said that...the indoor space keeps quiet and you can't hear the noise from outside. We loved people watching from the living room window while watching Netflix in our cozy place. The only downfalls for us were things that we overlooked when booking and no fault of the owners. There are steep stairs at the entrance and no elevator. We managed with a double stroller and the worst part was lugging 2 kids, luggage and the stroller up them on arrival and departure. The sleeping arrangements were bad for us because our toddler would not sleep while we were up. There isn't a door to close off a room so the kids could hear us and the light kept them up. As I mentioned we made it work and were overall so happy with this rental but it might be an issue for other families with young children. We were so grateful for the supplied high chair and crib. Kierug coffee was supplied and the kitchen was well equipped...the knives were sharp and the pots and pans are good quality. The place was extremely clean and the managers were friendly and prompt to reply to any questions we had during our stay. We won't hesitate to book with this company again but we will rent one of thier other units with more suitable sleeping arrangements for our family.

Wonderful Plateau apartment

We had a delightful stay at the Ave. Mont Royal suite. The apartment was sparkling clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The location is superb - we found great Plateau restaurants for dinner each night; walked a few blocks to the Metro for transportation and had grocery store, wine shop, banks, shops at our doorstep -- including the famous St. Viateur Bagels across the street! We found parking easily on the side street, much to our surprise. The communication with the team was excellent and they were available for any problems we had -- which we didn't! Can't recommend highly enough. Montreal was a great destination and the weather in early September was beautiful.

Great locale

The location provided a different experience than downtown Montreal. Great dining options in the area at multiple price points. The property is well-kept, clean, quiet and comfortable. It was an added bonus to have soap, detergent and coffee pods available so we didn’t need to worry about finding a store to purchase those items upon arrival. Check-in and check-out were easy. Very professional.

Great Location and Apartment

Montreal Vacation Rentals are a fantastic company, their communication was terrific, the apartment was exactly as photographed / described and well decorated . We really appreciated good quality pans, great kitchen appliances and sharp knives. Also there was plenty of soaps, washing liquids , tablets for the dishwasher, in other words generous supplies. Bed was comfortable, bathroom spacious and the apartment was very quiet. Netflix was great too. We didn’t think much of Montreal, but really highly recommend this company.

Fantastic rental in a prime location

Hands down, the best vacation rental we’ve ever stayed at. Spacious, sparkling clean, and so many thoughtful amenities. Three comfortable beds, large bathroom with tub and shower, large dining table along with breakfast bar, and a fully stocked kitchen with quality, usable items - like new cookware, a full set of knives, plenty of dishes, glasses and cups! For families traveling with little ones - there was even plastic kids dishes and glasses as well as a high chair. It was really the thoughtful details - plenty of hangers in the closets, Keurig machine with a huge box of capsules, the guide book that came with the apartment that had tons of recommendations! The location was great! We walked across the street every morning for fresh baked bagels and so many delicious restaurant options nearby and within walking distance. An easy walk to the metro station. Parking was not available for the full length of our stay so we parked our car on the street and followed the impeccable instructions provided by our hosts to buy a daily resident permit at the nearby grocery store a block away. We didn’t need our car for our stay so it was easy to leave it parked and switch out the permit daily. If you plan to use your car multiple times during the day, you’d need to find a spot but having the permit allows you to park in resident-only sections. We also rented a spot for the last two days of our stay - one block away. Everything in the listing was accurate and this agency was great to deal with - highly professional and responsive. Note that the apartment is as pictured, it is a large open space and there is not an enclosed bedroom so that is one thing to bear in mind as you consider sleeping schedules. Not an issue for us as two parents traveling with two teenagers - same bedtime! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this to anyone considering a rental in the Mont Royal area.

Great apartment in a wonderful neighborhood!

Had a wonderful time spending 4 nights in this fabulous apartment. It is very well situated in a vibrant neighborhood and has many wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Communication with management team was great. Shout out to Marty who met us at apartment and showed us the ropes. My wife and I would definitely stay here again and I have already recommended it to several of my friends!
