An extremely disappointing stay

We stayed at this property in April 2023, and prior to our arrival had had good communication with the owners. We had selected this property on the basis of its having two bathrooms, one of which was on the same floor as the bedroom. As the pictures show, the other bathroom was downstairs which would have meant navigating an open spiral staircase in the middle of the night. On the day before our arrival, we received a message from the owner saying that one of the upstairs rooms (the bathroom) was "condemned". We also found on our arrival that the washing machine, which we needed because we were travelling with only hand luggage had been removed from the property. When we contacted the owners, they agreed to bring round a new machine three days into our stay. Although the location of the property was very good and the property itself could have been equally nice, it was not very clean and was in poor repair. I injured my ankle stepping through the French windows onto astroturf with broken decking underneath. On the day of departure, we received an email from the owners saying that we must hoover, dust, vacuum and mop the whole property or leave cash for a cleaner to do it. On our return, we clarified with Vrbo that this was against the company's rules, and that any cleaning charges should have been clear from the outset. We made every effort to obtain a partial refund from Vrbo for our overall poor experience – without success. We recommend neither the property nor Vrbo.

Ideale ligging bij centrum Montpellier

Een zeer ruime en met veel smaak gerenoveerde woning, maar spijtig genoeg niet goed onderhouden. Wel proper, maar kraan van bad en porselein van lavabo mogen vervangen worden. Ingangsdeur van het complex sleept tergend fel en de sloten van zowel de ingangsdeur als van het complex haperen fel.

Nice flat - very close to the center

Location/parking: Montpellier is very full. The flat is quite easy to find, but there are a lot of narrow one way streets which makes it difficult to stop for a second and see if one is in front of the correct house. The parking is not that easy, as everything has to be paid from 9 am to 6 pm. Of course with a car one is free to move, but next time we'd prefer taking the plain. The flat itself is located very close to the center (7 minutes), the next tram station is 2 minutes away. Using the bikes we arrived within 40 minutes at the Palavas beach. Also Sète is a very nice place to stay and you should definitely visit this little town. Handing over of key: No problems with that. Unfortunately we did not meet Yannick or Patrick (but we stayed in contact via mobile phone). It was Nadia who helped us with everything and explained where to find all the stuff we needed. She is great! Flat: The flat is very big and very clean. Everything is there. Especially the kitchen was one of our favourite rooms. The air conditioner was very helpful, as is was really hot during our stay. Unfortunately there wasn't an a.c. in the sleeping room (we knew that), which made it hard for us to sleep. We saw that the stairs to the sleeping room are broken at some spots. It would be great if someone checked that as it can be very dangerous. Patio: Nice place to stay, but only in the early morning or late in the evening. Otherwise it was too hot. The Moquitos were irritating, but at that time it is normal, I guess. All in all: We would come again, but at a different time and a bit shorter.

Sehr schönes kleines Ferienhaus mitten in Montpellier, sehr freundliche und nette Vermieter

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus in Montpellier verbracht. Das Haus ist bis ins Detail sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, alles da, was das Urlauberherz begehrt. Die Vermieter Yannick und Patrick sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Lage in Montpellier ist sehr zentral, nur 5 Geh-Minuten vom Bahnhof. Die Stadt hat Flair und Charme, man kann sehr viel sehen und unternehmen. Und das Umland, die "kleine Camargue" ist ein echter Geheimtipp. Gut möglich, dass wir wiederkommen ... :)

Super maison idéalement située

Location idéale pour visiter Montpellier et les alentours

Nous avons passé 3 semaines dans cette maison qui est idéalement située (pas besoin de voiture): proche de la gare, du tram, des commerces, des restaurants, ... A 5 minutes de la place de la Comédie... A 30 minutes à peine de la mer grâce au tram et une navette de bus qui vous dépose à la plage du Petit Travers... La maison est très bien équipée: vous vous y sentez comme chez vous (grande cuisine avec tout le nécessaire, terrasse, barbecue, climatisation bien utile au rez-de-chaussée (malheureusement pas dans la chambre), beaucoup de documentations sur Montpellier et les environs, un parfum agréable dans la maison, ... Nous remercions Yannick et Patrick pour leur disponibilité et les petites attentions fournies. Bref, n'hésitez pas à séjourner dans cette maison!!!
