Charming 3 BR, 2 Bath cabin located in quiet Clifftops and close to Sewanee

Situated on a 6 acre hilltop, with a winding creek crossing through the property, it is an ideal location for Sewanee Alumni or Parents for special weekends on the mountain. The home features a large screened-in front porch, perfect for morning coffee or an outdoor meal with a good glass of wine. The front porch connects to the open family room. The kitchen is fully equipped, and updated with modern stainless appliances. The dining room/sitting area is fantastic for a nice family meal or a cookout on the back porch. The master suite with king bed is located on the first floor, with two additional bedrooms on the second floor. Both bathrooms offer tubs with showers. This mountain home can comfortably sleep 8 plus. The gated Clifftops community amenities include swimming pool, tennis and pickleball. The lake is an 8 minute drive, perfect for canoeing/kayaking/paddle boarding, and miles of hiking trails can be accessed from the cabin’s back yard. Minutes away from Sewanee's University of the South and convenient access to interstate 24, with peace and privacy. There is a no smoking/no pets policy.

The Clifftops is a must if you are planning on going to southern Tennessee!!! Lake,pool, privacy, tranquility it has it all!! Our family will definitely be staying here on future trips!!! Such a beautiful special place!!!

Sewanee Graduation weekend!

We had a wonderful stay during our daughters college graduation. It felt like home. It was so close to campus and close to the town. The house is lovely and very well appointed. The most comfortable beds. I am going home and buying a new mattress. I only wish I found the Happy Place 4 years ago!

Charming cottage in a great location. Well-appointed with loads of kitchen utensils and cookware and gadgets. Cozy porch and comfy bed. Hope we get to stay here again.

This was one of the better Clifftops property I have rented. The house and its location were great. There was a true sense of privacy. The reason I only gave communication with the owner a 3 was when I received my check in information I learned we could not use either fireplace. If an amenity shown in the listing photos is not for use I believe that should be stated in the listing.

Happy with our Stay at Our Happy Place

Our family had a wonderful stay over Sewanee Family Weekend. The home is located not too far into the beautiful Cliff Tops gated community which made going back and forth between campus very easy. The pictures of the home do not do it justice. The bunk room was perfect for our kids & my parents got to enjoy the large master bedroom & bathroom. I would have loved to lounge more.on the beautiful porch & daybed porch swing but it was a cool weekend. Highly recommend. We would stay again.
