"Had a great time staying at this lovely hotel. All the staff (reception, restaurant staff and cleaners) were all extremely pleasant and friendly. There is a mini market by the pool which is very well stocked. A bus outside the hotel takes you all the way into the centre of Chania and runs frequently. Bus tickets are available from reception in the hotel but you have to pay in cash for these. They are much cheaper if you buy them here rather than paying the bus driver on the bus. Our stay...

"Great room overlooking the beach, breakfast was very good, pool area was nice, Sparkling Spa was great. We arrived very late and went to the sister property where we waited half an hour only to learn we were at the wrong place - so be cautious as they have three adjacent properties. "We visited Balito with a family of 7 and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is small but updated and it is run by a wonderful family who makes you feel at home. The pool area is lovely and the breakfast and coffee is perfect in the morning. The rooms were good for our large family (we had two rooms with 3 beds each) and the area is very walkable. "Beautiful stay , staff so warm and welcoming , very peaceful and spotlessly clean - George and the team answered all our questions and gave good recommendations. Rooms were huge so much spce and shower really powerful . Breakfast was ok enouh to keep going , but you must have a car , we didnt and had to rely on buses which was a bit awkward as there is nothing nearby - if you want peace and quiet this is your place , specialmention to Katherine and her lovely cakes"
