Admire the beauty of some of the best Gulf beaches. Marvel at the diverse architecture that defines our vibrant communities. Or learn about the area’s rich history, culture, and wonders. We promise you an experience filled with lasting memories.

'Stick in the Sand' is in the Heart of Old Destin. This Sanddollar townhome unit is on the most highly-desired beaches of Destin, and you can't get a better seat. You will be within walking distance to some of Destin's favorite restaurants. 1 block from Pompano Joes. There's no pool here, but we own the beach all the way to the waterline and the ocean is all yours. Just step off your deck onto your own private beach.

A 5 min drive of outlet malls, many restaurants, and other retail shopping. Want to go to the Destin Harbor, then give yourself ten minutes driving time, and you're there.

Close to everything, comes with everything. including daily setup of 2 chairs and an umbrella March - Oct. We also provide plastic adirondacks for the offseason. This is a 'NO SMOKING' ,'non pet' unit which can sleep up to 8 people. The entrance to this unit is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of this beachfront townhome. The second floor has a full living room with 55' Tv foldout sofa, chair and chase. It also has a full modern kitchen with double ovens, 6 bay downdraft cooktop, delta touch faucet, full size fridge and microwave and a half bath. The top floor has two bedrooms. The Master has a King Size Bed, custom bathroom and stackable LG Washer / Dryer in the closet. The guest bedroom comes with a full bed, and a twin bed with trundle and it's own bathroom. Tile throughout the house helps make it feel like home. There are flat panel TV's, and a DVD Player. The kitchen is equipped with appliances, dishes, silverware, and cookware. We provide linens, towels, and a starter set of supplies.

Beach Time: Their are private balconies on every level!. Equipped with chairs for a relaxing evening in the breeze. Chair service is provided (March - Nov only) The scenery is complete with both a breathtaking view of the gulf and the sounds of the waves breaking on the beach. Play in the beach all day in our provided plastic Adirondacks or rent chairs from the local service and they can set them up daily with an umbrella. Finish your day by rinsing off in the outdoor shower.

The master bedroom is located next to the ocean so you can hear the waves even with the doors closed. Which we recommend to prevent both rust and our A/C from freezing up.

There is one parking spot for this rental that hold 2 STANDARD cars back to front. it is directly in front of the unit. Public parking is in walking distance if you have 2 oversize vehicles .

Lastly, no more looking for the perfect beach spot since the unit is deeded all the beach to to the water!

Everybody was so welcoming and the process was smooth! We had a blast on our vacation and wopl definitely be back to sticks in the sand. It felt like home at the beach!

The location is magnificent, the view is magnificent, the price is magnificent. The only issue with this place is some cleaning crew issues the owner should address. I am assuming it is the cleaning crew as I hope the owner does not approve of the things we noticed. Quick glance the place is clean, however; after walking around barefoot for just a few hours the bottoms of our feet were black. Further we noticed that the bathroom just off the kitchen has literal dust bunnies hanging on the valance.  The ceiling fan has dust collection on the ends of the blades.  An upstairs bedroom has something around the vent in the ceiling.  Was hard to identify from a distance.  Owner does state that if cleanliness is not to liking to call cleaning crew however, what we noticed is not something the cleaning crew could just come in and wipe up or sweep up.  Someone is not cleaning up to the standards a 155 cleaning fee should cover, especially if this place is rented all the time.  We were there a week.  If 155 is being charge for each stay then a new crew is needed.  The owner was very communicative and helpful when I had questions.  Absolutely, no issues there, everything was as explained in the description.  I would stay again as long as the cleaning concerns were addressed.

Unit was completely filthy. There were also 2 sliding doors that had no locks on them. The host said he had someone come in and clean the unit. This unit has not been cleaned in a while. When you first walk in you smell mold and mildew. The toliet in the 2nd bedroom upstairs moves when you sit on it. The pictures listed on the VRBO site are not accurate. I would not let my dog stay here.

Excellent on the beach location

All we had to do was walk out to the beach and sit in the chairs and under the umbrella provided. Host promptly responded to all inquiries. Overall, a wonderful experience. Would stay again.

Great location, but needs cleaned and updated

Great things: location (right on the beach with access via some stairs), plenty of space, great washer and dryer, good bathroom space, beach chairs and umbrella service, host responded quickly to messages Bad things: dirty (I called the maid service and they did not fix the issue), no internet or TV for half of our stay, kitchen is randomly stocked-four forks, dirty glasses and plates, random things left by other guests with no room for groceries, etc., mattresses are TERRIBLE. mold around the vents and exhaust fan does not work in upstairs bath. Towels smelled of mildew. No dish soap and one kitchen towel. Parking is terrible. The space is so narrow that you cannot open your door to get out of the vehicle. They are poorly marked as well. This is a two story unit with very narrow, shallow and slippery stairs. If you are older, disabled or out of shape this is not the unit for you.

The location is perfect to enjoy the beach, it is also within walking distance from stores and a restaurant. It could take an update since there are several little things that need attention like the tile on the steps and on the floor (loose) better vacuum job since I found blonde hair (not ours) , also floor is not level in some parts of the living area The beds are noisy they may need to be changed also

We had a good time. The view was excellent, perfect for quality beach time with sunrise and sunset views and kong pleasant walks. Closer to most stores. Private Access to beach is valuable.

I had to book later than I would have normally due to circumstances beyond my control so I wasn't sure what to expect. This condo exceeded my expectations. There were a couple of little things that I texted James about and he was very receptive and attentive I would stay here again in the future.

Great vacation!

This property was great. Completely as advertised. Great location. Everything was clean and spotless. The house could use a few upgrades but it was perfect for what we needed. Jim was readily available and was hands on with any questions we had. Great host and great house. We will definitely be back.

Only complaint I had was that it would’ve been a cleaner unit. There was sand all over the place. In the bed sheet, the floor of the shower and the stairs from the bedroom to the main levels. A few loose tile on the stairs but we had a great time and would come again!!

Great location

Me and my four kids stayed here this past week and it was really great. The location was so convenient, we walked wherever we needed to go. The beach is right there, no crossing the road! The balconies were really nice to enjoy breakfast and coffee on and the outdoor shower was super convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location - Unit needs work

I want to start by saying that the owner was very quick to respond to questions and very easy to work with. We've stayed at several Sanddollar Townhomes and unfortunately, this unit doesn't shine like the others we've stayed in. While surfaces that the cleaning crew would be dealing with regularly were clean, the walls, vent covers, light fixtures etc. were very dirty. It honestly seemed like any work that was done in the property was done by whoever's bid was lowest, not based on the quality of their work. I wish I would have actually read some of the other reviews prior to booking, instead of just looking at the rating number - 5 stars for location kept the score high. The unit served it's purpose for us but I wouldn't stay here again. It needs a complete overhaul. We actually took sheets off of a bed we were using and put them on the couch and chair so we could feel OK sitting on them. I don't like giving this review given James was great to work with but it is what it is. The location is fantastic.

The star of the show is the beach - beautiful views and steps from the water. Th unit is equipped ok and the pictures are accurate - not a fancy interior but fine for lounging at the beach

The views and beach were amazing - parking was horrible the spots are VERY narrow and there were 3 pickup trucks parked next to each other and you can’t open doors - the space was dated and pretty dirty - walls had dirt on them and felt pretty grimy and bad part was there were no cleaning products at all to even wipe down things

There was a few things that needed to be done to the condo, definitely upgrade the beds and furniture. There’s a mildew smell in the dishwasher and the linens didn’t smell fresh.

Viatge en família amb nens petits
This is just an ok place to stay. Its very old. It has a really bad musty smell. Parking sucks. If you dont have a small car you arent fitti g no more then one vehicle. They say they have overflow parking at the restraunt next door but this simply isnt true for over night parking. After 10 pm your subject to towing. We had a large SUV and A full size truck. So we worried all night if our truck was going to be towed as they both wouldnt not fit in the parking. The beach was nice one of the best beaces for kids to swim. So if you dont mind old and musty and have a small car by all means this is the place for you to stay and enjoy the beach at a fair price.
