  • Welcome to Pelican Perch!

    4 bedroom, 2.5 bath luxurious beach house only 1/2 mile (2 minute drive or 10 minute walk) to the emerald waters and sugary white sands, with no roads to cross!! Located along Scenic 98 in the Miramar Beach community of Destin. Gulf Pines is a quiet hidden gem, tucked away from the crowds and offers private beach access and parking for Gulf Pines homeowners only, and their guest.

    Conveniently located to a variety of family friendly dining, shopping and entertainment. The Silver Sands Premium Outlet is 1 mile and you’re minutes away from Destin Commons, Big Kahuna Water Park, The Village of Baytowne Wharf, Harbor Walk Village and much more. So many options, but so little time!

    Start the mornings off by sipping coffee on the wrap around front porch while enjoying the quiet community of Gulf Pines. Tastefully decorated throughout, to include a fully equipped kitchen with premium appliances, gas stove, and granite counter tops. Connecting the living room, dining room (seats 8), and kitchen bar (seats 3), you will have no shortage of space, for a nice meal and good conversation. The living room comfortably seats 8 and has a large 70" flat screen TV viewable from both the living room and kitchen/bar. If you must do laundry while you are here, the large laundry room with a front load washer and dryer will make the job easier.

    When you're not at the beach, you'll enjoy the spacious backyard, private pool 15x30 (heating option available) with outdoor dining, and pool loungers. We have both gas and a charcoal grill for convenience and preference. Pelican Perch offers all the comforts of home, but all the vacation amenities one would expect.

    No parties, weddings or events can be held at the property, nor common areas. Otherwise, guests will be subject to HOA, Community and other associated fines.

    Guest are able to park a maximum of 5 vehicles in the driveway per the HOA guidelines. Additional parking is not available.

    CLEANING PRACTICES:
    All sheets, towels and blankets are laundered between each reservation. All cleaning supplies are top grade and antibacterial. We want to ensure everyone enjoys their vacation and is happy and healthy!

We vacation in Miramar every year and love it so much. It’s our home away from home. Just recently we discovered the Gulf Pines neighborhood after reserving a home for my daughter’s Bach trip. I don’t think we will ever stay anywhere else. This home, in particular, was exactly as described. It was beautiful, spacious, clean, and fully stocked with every essential you need. The upstairs loft is so cozy and quaint. We used it for movie nights. There were a couple of instances prior to our visit that it took awhile for my message to be responded to, but once we were there, everything was responded to very promptly. We are in the process of planning next year’s trip and would love to stay at this home again. Also, the private beach is a plus and so is the golf cart.

The host was very reachable and got back with me almost immediately when contacted. The kitchen is well stocked for cooked meals. The only negative we could say is there is only 1 beach fob (which is all they are allowed), so with multiple people, makes it difficult when people are going to and from the beach. There are also no restrooms at the beach, just to be aware. Otherwise, we loved the house and the area was great for walks!

Favorite beach getaway

We have been vacationing in the Destin area for many years and this home was one of our favorites. It was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The private pool was great as well. We look forward to staying at Pelican Perch again!

Wonderful Family Vacation

The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room to spread out and grandkids loved upstairs dorm like bedroom. The private yard and pool were beautiful. The easy access to private beach was a big plus. We had a wonderful family vacation!

Beautiful home

We came to Destin for our grandson’s beach wedding. The home was clean and just perfect for our family of nine adults and two children. The swimming pool was awesome and the golf cart was perfect for trips to the beach. We all really enjoyed our stay and would love to return again in the future!

Great location and lovely house

I love the feeling when you open the door and you know you made the right choice to stay at this house. Great layout and we all loved the private pool. You are close to the Whataburger which is plus and the proximity to the beach was great. The golf cart is a must and the access to the private beach was well worth the cost!

Perfect family vacation house

This has become our families favorite vacation location. The house is modern, clean and is located is a perfect location. My girls love the private pool and the chairs at the beach are perfect for Starbucks with my wife every morning. The property managers are very responsive. We can’t wait until next year!

Great week at Pelican Perch

Great house, beach, pool! Exactly what we were looking for. Golf cart is a must! House layout is great. Kitchen fully stocked. One small issue with the washing machine and host response was immediate. Highly recommend this house!

Beautiful home

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. Everything was clean and the property manager was quick to answer any questions. Close to the beach. Gulf cart is a must, making trips to the beach easy. Pool was very nice and house has a nice sized yard. Definitely would stay here again. Beach area was nice and not too busy. We were able to put up our canopy on the beach to allow for shade. Neighborhood is very nice and quiet.

Meet all expectations.

We really enjoyed this property!! From the very beginning the owners had great communication. And they checked on us multiple times during our stay. They informed us of places to go for certain things. The house was awesome overall and the pool came in clutch when we didn't want to go to the beach. The private access to the beach was also worth it there was always spots available to set up and enjoy it without all the crowds.

We enjoyed our stay at Pelican Perch. The home is comfortable for a family. We cooked in the kitchen (the oven is amazing! It’s a Cafe appliance!), swam in the large pool, and played games that were provided in the living room entertainment center. The golf cart was perfect to load up the beach gear and take the short drive to the private beach access. This was the best part! We really never had to leave the subdivision to get to the beach fun. The host was very quick to respond when we had simple questions. Great stay!

Five stars rating! We had an absolutely wonderful stay, and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the owners have thoughtfully considered everything a family might need for a comfortable and enjoyable vacation. The cleanliness of the property exceeded our expectations. Everything was spotless, well maintained and incredibly welcoming. The amenities were exceptional, and went for beyond what we anticipated, making our stay easy, comfortable, and stress-free. The host was outstanding. Prior to our arrival, we received a detailed text message with additional helpful information about the property, check-in procedures, local recommendations and other important details. Having everything readily available, made our arrival seamless and show just how much they cared about their guests experience. The backyard Employee area were truly the highlight of our day. The space was even more beautiful and spacious than the photo’s suggested. Provided the perfect setting for our family to relax, spend quality time together, and create wonderful memories. There was more than enough room for everyone to spread out while still enjoying being together. This was definitely a family, friendly property with exceptional host, outstanding amenities, and an amazing outdoor space. You would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone planning a beach vacation. We are already planning for next year!!

Beautiful house, everything we needed!

Our group of 9 (4 adults and 5 kids) really enjoyed our stay at Pelican Perch. The pool and house are beautiful and in excellent condition. Everything seemed like new! The house was fully stocked with all the amenities we needed, beds and pillows were comfortable, and we had plenty of space for all of us to eat and relax while at the house. They thought of everything needed to make our stay easy and relaxing. We enjoyed the gorgeous private beach, which we could walk or drive to easily. The owner was very responsive and assisted with any questions or needs we had promptly. Would definitely recommend a stay here!

Perfect Perch

We loved this property and especially enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and friendly residents. Easy access to private beach and also enjoyed pool at house. Shopped and dined in Destin in spite of the crowds and traffic. Great choices also near the property. We also enjoyed massages at The Hilton. Great day snapper fishing with Backcoumtry Outfitters limiting out with our guide Jeremy! Grandsons enjoyed parasailing and the go carts and arcade/amusement park in Destin. Kiley was very helpful and prompt with questions I had prior to arrival. It was a wonderful week making memories at this beautiful home!

Amazing Vacation House

Pelican Perch was better than expected. First, the pictures of the property are beautiful; but in person, the house is stunning. My whole family enjoyed staying there. It was an amazing house for all ages. The golf cart option is a must. It makes trips down to the beach very easy and convenient. Plus, it’s a nice way to see the community. The homeowners were wonderful throughout the entire process. Easy to contact and very hospitable. We will definitely stay at Pelican Perch again!

Great vacation spot

We really enjoyed our stay at this home! It’s a great location just outside of Destin , so it’s a little more quiet. The home was very clean with amazing finishes, the kitchen was stocked well with all the things you would need, and we really enjoyed the outside spaces and the front porch!!! The pool area has adequate seating and it was nice to have some yard space for yard games. The home is somewhat of a walk to the beach (carrying all the beach essentials) so it was nice to have the golf cart as an option to get there much easier. Also we loved that we didn’t have to worry about parking it at the beach , there was always parking available. The owners and management of these property are great , for the most part prior to our trip they were great at getting back to us with our questions about the property, and during our stay they were very prompt with any communication we had with them! We would definitely recommend this property to others!!! Destin is an amazing vacation spot!
