We had a great time at this rental property. This was our first time vacationing in Florida and the pool made the hot days cooler! Property has everything thats needed for a more than comfortable stay.

Beautiful home with plenty of space for our group of 17. Rooms were really spacious with comfy beds. Kitchen had everything you needed. Lots of utensils, pots/pans, plates, cups/platesand Rubbermaid containers for storing extra food. Golf cart was very handy and appreciated even though it’s hard to coordinate an efficient way to use it for 17 people on different schedules. I recommend renting an extra one. Closes beach access doesn’t have public parking. Other access points do and fill up fast. Kitchen needs a commercial size ice maker. Internet went out. We were told to message number to get it addressed. After day one with no Internet we were told the number doesn’t take text messages. Need to clarify that you need to leave a voice message. Too many rented chairs and umbrellas taking up the whole beach front. We were able to find a small spot in between. We had to get out there at 630 am to stake or claim. Yeah, we were that guy. We were back out there by 9 every day though. Pool was kinda refreshing, Very warm day one. Overall, great stay! Family really enjoyed everything.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. It was exactly as advertised. A very few minor inconveniences occurred during our stay, and the property manager was prompt and efficient in dealing with all of them. We highly recommend them!

Had a great time! There were 17 of us all ages! Grandparents, kids and grandchildren… we had plenty of room and loved the pool area. Property management was very responsive! Only had a very minor issue!

Family vacation

We had a wonderful time and the house was beautiful with plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked. One suggestion would be that they stock plastic cups to take out to the pool. The golf cart was a great addition and everyone loved it. The only problem was the water never really got hot enough in the kitchen and water pressure was low. Overall it was a great time and would definitely recommend this place!

Fantastic Beach House.

House was very well up kept, it appears some recent upgrades were done across the home. Pleasantly surprised. Very clean, previous reviews acted as if this was an issue, property management assured us they had all new cleaning crews for the home, can confirm they are doing a great job. House is towards the front of the community, so very convenient to get in and out of the neighborhood. The pool was a must, we didn't want to go to the beach everyday and the pool was a more convenient and relaxing experience in between beach days. Definitely intend to return, sooner than later. Thanks for the great stay.

Grizzell Destin vacation

Overall it was a beautiful home and we would rent again! Pool was small but kids enjoyed it everyday but one! Floors and rugs may have been rushed before we came in! They weren’t very clean! I would suggest a dust pan so when renters clean up they have an easy way to sweep up! Lots of room for big families!

Property manager and staff on top of everything

Our stay was pleasant. The location was perfect with a nice walk to the beach. It wasn’t too long for the kids in our group. Private beach access was lovely too. The property manager was very communicative. Although their office closet after 5 pm, when the hvac went down, we reached out to the emergency phone number and had a staff member come out at 10 pm. It was reassuring. They also had an hvac company back on site the following morning for a full fix. The listing has 8 roof old but I’d say 7 rooms for couples and children to adults (non couples) could fill the other sleeping spaces . The location was very clean and quiet as well.

Distance to the beach

Were never able to get our Bracelets. Every time we went, there were no attendants, and it is not a short distance to walk with small Children’s. We ended up driving to the Beach and finding parking space is a hassle. There should be a more convenient way to pre registering your guest and have the bracelets available on their arrival.

The Perfect House

I cannot say enough great things about this place! My family has stayed up and down the coast for years and this was the best as far as location and amenities we have a found! There are 19 of us and each person had their own place and no one felt like they were on top of each other. We chose to have the pool heated and it was absolutely perfect! The golf cart was a blast and so easy to drop people off at the beach. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked. The house is located very close to CVS and Walmart. I even had groceries delivered from Walmart that made our stay even easier. I had to contact Ryan a few times and within minutes he texted back. I can’t speak more highly of this place!

Snazzy Coconut

Overall the house was nice but a couple of things were disappointing. The faucets in the bathrooms were not extended over the sinks far enough and left a mess every time you washed your hands. The kitchen cutting knives left a lot to be desired. The hand can opener did not work at all. There were plenty of dinnerware, silverware, pots and pans but there were no serving bowls. The size of the pool is VERY misleading on the website. The floors downstairs were very dirty. We had to buy a swiffer to clean the floors because a couple of our children were babies and their hands and feet were black after about 14 minutes.

The Snazzy Coconut

Pros: Great location! Close to the beach and many restaurants. House was spacious for 15, everyone had their own space. Beds super comfy. Golf cart came in handy for quick drop offs. Pool was wonderful, the kids loved it! Kitchen well stocked with dishes, pans, if you cook. Cons: Instead of the little boxes for each bathroom with toiletries and kitchen dish pods, I would much rather see that money go towards stocking toilet paper and paper towels. We got a half used roll of paper towels for 7 nights, no refills. Each bathroom had 1 roll of toilet paper, no refills. There were 15 of us. The drain in one of the bathrooms barely drained and the toilet ran all the time. We just shut the door. I did not contact maintenance and I'm sure it would have been addressed. Rugs and floors need a deep clean, windows and surfaces looked gently wiped over. Overall, we had an amazing trip and would definitely rent here again.

Simple Florida rental

The listing was very accurate and instructions were in good detail via the website. There was some confusion on the private beach access, as there are no actual wristbands you need as described, just need the gate code, which we had to search for. Would be nice to just list all the codes needed in a simple email/text. The house was stocked with very basic essentials. Felt kind of cheap to only supply one toilet paper roll per bathroom, obviously that's not enough for a multiple night stay here. Plenty of dishes and utensils though. House seems cheaply made, but is adequate for what we needed. Shower pressure is very poor, which is a big deal when you're trying to get sand off of everything. Front door closing shook the whole house, especially the two downstairs bedrooms next to it. Also of note is it's a far walk by foot to the beach, and no car parking near the private entrance. The golf cart was nice to have for short trips, but when the whole house was going to the beach it was easier to just drive to the public beach. Pool was clean, and plenty of parking for 6+ cars if needed.

Beautiful, but needs proper upkeep and love.

My family and I spent a week here for Thanksgiving. The area was perfect and the house was beautiful with enough space, but we had to call maintenance multiple times. That said, the property was very responsive and had someone there to address issues promptly, if they could. In case you miss it, the house sleeps 30, but they only allow 20 ppl at the cost shown. It is an additional $100 pp, regardless of age. You can't check in early, even if no one stayed there before. We got the code right at check in time. Once we entered, we could immediately tell it had been a while since someone was in to clean. Dead bugs were on the floor (dry and stuck to it), the oven was nasty, and the ice maker did not work. Two of the tv's did not work properly, but the company had them replaced while we were there. The maintenance guy to tried to clean the oven, but it was in rough shape. He tried to fix the ice maker, but it never worked. He did mention we could save receipts for ice we bought, but it wasn't worth the trouble. One of the tubs was severely clogged, the golf cart wouldn't charge, blew a fuse and had to be repaired, hand towels in the bathroom had makeup on them, the outside trash bins were already full when we got there. We found random medicine in one of the beds, and water bottles, tags, etc. that were not ours under furniture. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves, but for what we paid, I was not pleased with the upkeep of the property, even if it was off-peak season.

Just what we were looking for!

The Snazzy Coconut was a great place to stay. Nice size rooms, comfortable beds, great accommodations. Location was convenient to everything. Golf cart was nice but we also walked to a lot of the destinations. Nice pool and patio.

Great neighborhood

House was beautiful, loved having the pool and the golf cart was such a bonus for getting to the beach., management was very responsive to our requests for assistance

Amazing Week at the Snazzy Coconut

All of the top-rated reviews are justified...house is great, as well as the location to both the beach and shopping. The kids all loved having the beach and pool option every day. The golf cart addition makes quick store trips really convenient. The only recommendation I'd make is that the drier didn't seem to do well with multiple towels, but that's minor compared to the awesome week.

This place met all of our vacation needs and communication woth the property manager was instant and friendly.

Great home close to the beach

The home was very clean and new looking. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of dishware, glasses and cookware for dining in and plenty of restaurant options nearby. The gas grill, though it worked well has seen better days. It needs a thorough cleaning out or replaced. The 6man cart was a lot of fun and a great convenience for short trips. Overall everyone loved the place and had a great time.
