Mirador Perú

The hotel itself was okay. I just didn’t like how before I booked I asked if we would be eligible for early check in since my flight landed at 4 am they responded yes but when I got there me and other families had to wait to 3 pm to check in I also booked city view and got a cabana the room was pretty good can’t complain honestly , they have multiple restaurants and a casino close by also the train station was right outside.

The hotel is as the name indicated, in the center of old town. The location is fantastic. Very convenient. However, as some of the reviews had mentioned, they have live music in the lobby all day until 11pm. I was aware of this and requested that they give us a quiet room. However, we were given a room with windows facing the atrium and were subjected to the music all day. It was not too loud but was quite annoying if you want quietness. Add to this, it was on the 4th floor and next to one of the restaurant/bar and there were noises coming from it until late. The room was 426 so to other travelers, avoid this room. The bathroom shower was poorly designed and the floor was flooded after every shower. We had to use tons to towels to mop up the water. Not sure why we were given such a lousy room even though the hotel didn’t seem fully booked. The only reason I didn’t request for another room because my husband has unpacked all his stuffs and didn’t want to move. Are Expedia customers treated worse or something? The positives: the room was reasonably spacious. Beddings were comfortable. Roof top pool was nice although it is rather of small and it could use some fixing up. The staff was courteous and breakfast was decent. Had it not for the noisy room, it would have been a nice stay. For this reason, I don’t think we’ll stay here again in the future since noisy room is a deal breaker for me.
