I have never had a more unsatisfying customer service experience than this one. There were many things that were not as expected when I arrived.
1. Broken toilet paper holder and towel bar that fell off the wall
2. No bath mat
3. Dust/dirt under the bed and a sock!
4. No binder with hard copy instructions
5. No hard copy instructions for how to use items (eg fire pit, television, etc.)
6. Microwave hard to find - they know this from previous customers but have done nothing to address it
7. No wine glasses
8. No regular size dinner plates
9. Half empty bags of ice
10. Wires exposed on the televisions
11. One umbrella for a unit that can sleep 6 people
My friend lost his fob, which has a $250 replacement fee. This would be fine of course but given the condition of the unit and the terrible customer service I received, it's 100% unnacceptable and unprofessional.
I told the supervisor Kristen that I don't like writing bad reviews but prefer to communicate issues directly. Her repsonse was that I was supposed to tell them of issues while I was there. Why is it my responsibility to tell them all the things that are wrong with the condo - WHILE I AM STAYING THERE? All I heard was excuses without any accountability.
Hopefully, they will incorporate my feedback so the next guests won't have to deal with these issues while they are on vacation. I don't like dealing with things like this in my own home, let alone a penthouse condo that I've rented!
