The River's Edge

Whether you're an avid fly fisherman or simply looking for a peaceful retreat in the mountains, this River House is the perfect destination. Nestled in the heart of Blue Ridge Mountains, this river house is located at one of the most highly sought after fishing areas of the Toccoa. Situated just steps away from the water's edge, it offers unparalleled access to some of the best fly fishing in the areas. Inside, the living area is filled with natural light and stunning views of the river. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect for whipping up delicious meals after a day on the water, and the cozy living room is ideal for curling up with a good book or streaming a movie with the high speed internet. The house features three bedrooms and two baths. It also has an additional room with pull out sofa for additional guests. Outside, the River House truly shines with the deck that makes you feel like you're touching the water and the outdoor sitting area with fire-pit and chairs. With its stunning location, comfortable accommodations, and endless outdoor activities, it's sure to be a vacation you'll never forget.

This was a perfect weekend getaway space for our family. We enjoyed fishing in the river, visiting downtown, and the quaint area. Amenities were perfect, house was clean and updated. Amazing views as well!

The property was very clean and as advertised. We enjoyed fishung in the river and the stay was perfect. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The entire process from booking to checkout was five star.

Great get away!

Wonderful home. Homeowner was easy to work with and highly responsive. The only issue we had is the pull out couch in the front room was not going to work as a bed for us, so we had to reshuffle sleeping arrangements. I would take that into consideration when booking this if you need more than 4 beds. Otherwise, absolutely love this house and hope to return.

Awesome Place, Awesome Owner. Very Awkward story..I had both her number and a local pizza place copied on my phone's clipboard and accidentally called the owner to order Pizza haha! She was a great sport about it and even recommended a restaurant. Thanks so much, the place was great!

Beautiful, peaceful location

We all had a great time staying here. It was very peaceful and beautiful. The location was great, very quiet yet close enough to town to run to the store when needed. I do have some cons. Nothing that would stop me from staying there again but definitely need to know so you can be better prepared. When we arrived we immediately had to leave and run to the store. The cabin barely had any toilet paper in either bathroom (1 used roll in each bathroom that was pretty much empty), no sponge to clean dishes with, 1 roll of paper towels in the kitchen that was pretty much empty as well. It was pretty inconvenient to walk in and not have necessities already there. With 7 of us staying Sunday-Friday I expected at least 1 full roll of TP in each bathroom to get us until the next day. I’ve stayed in plenty of VRBOs and have always had more than enough cleaning supplies, trash bags, etc to maintain the property for the duration of my stay…this one was definitely different and unexpected. The house itself was clean on the inside, but the outside could have been maintained a little better. I know the house is surrounded by trees but the amount of spider webs was definitely creepy and my kids did not enjoy that part at all. Beds were decently comfortable, except for the pull out couch. I would not recommend a teenager or adult sleeping on that mattress. Our 2 youngest slept on it and I was worried because it was extremely slanted where the foot of the bed was much higher than the head.

Rhonda is a Great Host

So glad we picked this cabin! Everything inside was new and clean. The beds and pillows were comfy and the whole cabin felt cozy. The best part is that it was on the river. We loved relaxing on the deck and how convenient it was to go for a swim. Would absolutely stay here again!

Cozy cabin on the river

This cabin was perfect in every way! Beautiful river view and the walk out porch is fantastic! The cabin is well appointed and the beds are very comfortable. Privacy is great and would be perfect for those who are looking for relaxation!
