Welcome to *PEACE-Waukee* located on Pewaukee Lake! This cheerful location is brimming with good vibes!
Excellent location off the highway and walking distance to downtown Pewaukee beach, shops and restaurants.
Our retro-style 3 bed/ 1 bath lake home comfortably sleeps 6 (7 with children), is dog friendly, and features stunning sunset views over the water. The large back deck, flat, grassy frontage, pier, firepit, and stocked amenities will provide a relaxing Lake-Cation all year round!

This Must Be the Place! This groovy lakefront home is the perfect location for much needed relaxation, visiting with family, fun-filled days on the water, and game nights with your groupies. This home is in a safe, residential community, and walking distance to the shops and beach in the Village of Pewaukee. We are stocked full of essentials for your comfort such as kitchen necessities, child amenities, games, and books galore! The spacious living room and lakefront bedroom feature huge picture windows that offer unbeatable sunset views over the calming water. The classic wood-paneling is reminiscent of the lake homes from beloved childhood memories. To bring that nostalgia to life, we decorated with a fun, retro aesthetic to bring a smile to your face.

*Please Note: This house is a duplex. This rental unit is the entire first floor, basement, and back patio deck. There are NO interior shared spaces or entrances, your space is completely private to you. We have long term tenants the live on the 2nd floor.

Outdoor living:
The extra-large back patio is the perfect place to watch the sunset, grill a meal, or gather around the firepit with wine and cheese (When in Wisconsin... ). The backyard features 65ft of flat, grassy frontage with plenty of room to spread out. Offers a gas grill, outdoor gas firepit and chairs, pier and a kid-friendly sandpit next to the water!
*4th of July* Walk downtown for a terrific parade and festivities and watch the phenomenal fireworks display from the home yard!!

The crisp fall nights enjoyed on the back patio around the fire as the leaves show their beautiful colors might be my favorite time of year. Ice Fishing is very popular during the winter months on Pewaukee Lake.
Oh and did we mention the sunset is spectacular all year long?!

Lake Life:
We are located walking distance to downtown Pewaukee shops and beachfront. Pontoon rental available in the summer! Or bring your own boat and tie up to our pier. Pewaukee Lake has multiple restaurants you can visit via boat. Rent a kayak or paddleboard from the local rental spots to soak up every minute of those long summer days. Walking distance to Pewaukee public beach. Pack your fishing poles all year round - Pewaukee is a premier Musky fishing lake! Pewaukee Lake is home to the largest Muskie population in southeastern Wisconsin. Ice Fishing is a very popular activity in winter.

Additional Amenities:
The bonus basement rec room offers another space to enjoy! This area has a designated workspace, a TV, fireplace, homemade bar, and windows that provide natural light and a view of the backyard. The washer and dryer are also located in the basement. Always on-site pack-n-play, highchair seat, toys, books and games, and plastic kitchenware. Also included WIFI, 2 Smart TVs, fresh linens and towels, shower dispensers, blow dryer, portable tower fans, ironing board, and lots of fun games and books.
Don't forget your furry family member - we are also dog friendly!

Where to go/ What to do:
We are centrally located in the Lake Country Area, just a short walk to Pewaukee's downtown beachfront with public beach, shops and restaurants. The surrounding towns have lakes, parks, and restaurants in every direction!
Located only 30 mins to Milwaukee and 1 hour to Madison. 1.5 hours to Wisconsin Dells and 2 hours to Chicago.

Lake House

Our family really enjoyed staying at this house. The kids loved the sandbox and the big yard. They also enjoyed swimming and fishing off the pier. The sunsets were beautiful.

Great time ; pet friendly right off the water

We decided to come to Pewaukee last minute and do glad we did! Kristin was wonderful and very responsive! We rented their pontoon which was amazing. Highly recommend the property..lots of restaurants walking distance too!

Week on Lake Pewaukee

This property was a great place to spend a week as a family of 4 to enjoy all that Lake Pewaukee has to offer. It felt like the lake cabin I grew up going to as a kid. Our family enjoyed the beach in front of the house, the dock for fishing, and the proximity to downtown (10 min walk). Kristen was amazing and helped us out with any questions we had. We enjoyed our time in Wisconsin and will return next summer to escape the Texas heat.

Weekend Getaway

It is a quiet location on the lake. Nice yard. Neighbors are kind and will leave you alone or talk to you....your choice. Home is clean and comfortable. LOVE the deck! We were able to enjoy the birds early in the morning with our coffee. This is a place to relax.

Perfect location for visiting Lake Country

We enjoyed watching the ducks, geese and waterskiiers playing on the water from the tranquil setting of this lovely lake house. The property is dated and ready for upgrades, but the host has created a very welcoming home away from home. The photos and description in the listing were spot on. We loved our stay.

Lake House

We needed a close and convenient get away spot that also allowed pets, and this lake home was perfect! We did a lot of water activities and rented a pontoon from Beachside since we needed a bit more room and hp than theirs had, but the owners did offer use of their pontoon if needed. Kristen was super accommodating to our needs and easy to contact. The house was clean and stocked with everything we needed. We definitely hope to come back next summer!!

Lovely lake side home with big deck and yard

Clean well maintained house on Pewaukee lake with large deck and yard. Photos are accurate. Host was very responsive. Easy walk to swimming beach, kayak/SUP rental and restaurants/coffee shop/wine bar. Our group included 5 adults with enough room to host some local family for dinner. Comfortable beds! Kitchen is easy to cook in. Bonus bathroom in the basement. We'd stay again.

Good times on the lake

This is a perfect spot for families to play and relax. The house was clean and well equipped (child-sized life vests :) The host is quick to respond and very helpful. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood with easy access to town and beautiful sunsets every evening.

Best location with lively owners

We enjoyed our stay so much. The location was so amazing. Easy walk in to town. Beds were super comfortable and plenty of space for our family to spread our. Kristen was a super accommodating host. Next time we just hope for some better weather so we can enjoy some boating. Definitely will be back!

Pure Wisconsin Getaway Destination

Do you like to boat, fish, swim, sunbath, socialize, relax, enjoy supper clubs, savor Brandy Old Fashioned cocktails and have a great time? If so, this is the place to stay and it is conveniently located just 20 minutes or so west of Milwaukee. Get the northwoods feel without driving 10 hours! The hosts, Kristen and Kyle, were simply fabulous to work with and their partners stopped by to check in on us too. Turn a 10/10 getaway into an 11/10 by renting the pontoon boat...yes, it's nicer than my vehicle and so much fun to cruise Pewaukee Lake! The panfish angling right off the dock was great and the evening sunsets from the home's deck cannot be beat. Highly recommended to everyone!!

Wonderful location

My husband and I stayed here for a week with my elderly in-laws and small grandchildren. It was perfect for all of us! The house was beautifully located on the lake, well-maintained property inside and out. Very clean and well stocked. It was more spacious than the pictures show. Everything was perfect for our stay! Kristen was attentive to any questions we had. Would highly recommend.

Healing and Relaxation

Booked the property to recover after an outpatient surgery as my wonderful friend took care of me. The home was comfortable, clean and quiet. The deck over looking the water was perfect to read a book and rest. Plenty of space. I would go back with my kids anytime!

PeaceWaukee Lake stay while wood floors were retained

Excellent cottage, overlooking Pewaukee Lake. Very well appointed and maintained. Full kitchen was wonderful as were views of the lake and sunset. Conveniently located to downtown Pewaukee, restaurants, bakery, beach, etc. Would highly recommend.

Excellent Family Getaway

The property was fabulous! We went in the winter time so there was snow and Pewaukee Lake was iced over. Would LOVE to go back and enjoy this property in the spring or summer!

Great location to enjoy Lake Country!

You can’t beat the views, so beautiful! The area is quiet and friendly but best of all is the convenience to walking to downtown Pewaukee. Great stores and restaurants to enjoy. I would definitely recommend trying this vrbo for a stay. We have family in the area and will surely stay again. Kristen was super responsive when needed and a great host. Keep up the great job 👍
