Walk to the beach from this beautiful 2 story Colonial home that is 5 houses from the water. Enjoy the tranquility of this Feng Shui designed 3 br 1.5 bath completely renovated piece of heaven. Walk into a large spacious living room with a custom nautical design throughout the home. The beachy quartz and copper kitchen is amazing to whip up meals in. This house owns the parking lot behind it that is large enough for 3 -4 cars for your convenience! Walk to restaurants, ice cream, pub, pizza, coffee shop, bike & scooter rentals, liquor store, deli and much more! Stroll down to the boardwalk that connects 3 beaches! Just pack your book and head on over!
Outdoor Grille - Outdoor furniture - backyard with beautiful porch to have your morning coffee!! Walnut Beach - few blocks down - use pay-stations on E. Broadway & walk right in!

Great beach house - clean and well stocked

We had a wonderful time here. It's new (or newly renovated) and super clean and well stocked. We didn't want to eat out all the time and so appreciated that the house was well stocked with kitchen stuff (pots, pans, plates, cutlery, cups, and a few cooking essentials like salt and pepper), as many other rentals don't stock kitchens at this level. It also had lots of towels, sheets, and blankets available. We had easy communication with the property manager via text and she quickly addressed any issues we had. There is a slightly odd thing in that the downstairs bathroom doesn't have a working door. And while the house has central air, we love a beach breeze on cooler summer nights but as all the windows didn't have screens, we couldn't really open them without risking mosquitos flying in. However, these issues wouldn't stop us from booking the place again as you're only half a block from the beach in a quiet neighborhood that we loved.

Perfect beach access in a lovely home

This was a great “home base” for a week at the beach. The house was clean, well-appointed and very spacious. The host went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed, and was very apologetic for the few minor issues the house had. It was so convenient to be able to grab anything we needed and just walk to the beach in literally 2-3 minutes, right down the street. The location isn’t really near town, but there are a few restaurants and an ice cream place within walking distance, which was nice. The Audubon sanctuary nearby was also a beautiful place to visit & hike. A day trip to Mystic was an hour’s drive, and totally worth the time. The neighborhood is clearly in the process of improvement, so there’s an odd mix of housing; but everyone we ran across was very friendly. The beach itself was great for picking up seaglass, lounging with a good book, or cooling off in the Sound. If you’re looking for easy access to a beach that’s not crowded & a comfortable place to stay while exploring CT, this is it!

Beautiful beach getaway!

What a beautiful home that has all that you need to enjoy the beach! We had a blast enjoying the beach at the end of the street! Most of the time we were the only ones on it— in July?!! That’s a beautiful thing to have the space and privacy! Andrea was so responsive and kind!

Great beachside town location

We had a wonderful stay while in town for my niece's wedding. The house was very clean; 1 block from the beach and walking distance to a great ice cream shop, paddleboard rentals, and convenience stores. There were amenities for going to the beach, such as umbrella, chairs, and towels -- everything needed for a day at the beach. The TV had a Roku, so plenty of various apps available (assuming you have your own accounts). Perfect for us. The kitchen amenities were a bit sparse, but enough to get by (we were not planning on big meals anyway).

Amazing location

This location is amazing. It is one block from the beach. You can pack up the beach bag on rollers (the goat provides) with a few toys, water and snacks for the kids, throw your flip flops on and be at the beach in 5 minutes. My kids loved this. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. Would absolutely come back!

Great Location

A sweet little place with cozy bedrooms and comfortable beds, steps from the beach, which made the family get-together just wonderful. Very friendly and warm adjacent neighbors.

Beautiful house and close to the beach

Andrea was a great hostess and quickly responded to our questions. The house is newly renovated and has great beach decor. The house is in a great location. Very short walk to the beach. Close to ice cream and bike/kayak/paddle board rentals. Overall, we had a great time and highly recommend it!

Amazing 2 Story Beach House within walking distance to everything

We loved staying here. What a truly relaxing and welcoming experience. From the initial booking to the final locking of the door, the experience with the owner and property was top-notch. Nothing was left to chance and it was a fully stocked and wonderfully decorated house. Whether the super-short walk to the beach or the walk to pizza, ice cream, lobsters, and even more beaches, we enjoyed every minute of this very convenient house. The parking in the back was very ample and even when parked, our kids had lots of space to run around when we spent time in the backyard and on the tranquil back porch. It was perfect for all ages as the two floors gave everyone room to relax and do activities apart when necessary and together most of the time. Thoughtfully decorated, the house really shines and makes you feel like the perfect getaway to let it all go. Peaceful and fun, everyone said "10 out of 10". We would definitely stay again.
