Great Location Comfortable and Quiet

  • LOCATION

    It's the perfect location for those willing to visit the city and it's surrounding.
    5 minutes walk from the Central train Station and the shuttle's bus stop to and from all city's airport (Malpensa, Linate an Bergamo Orio al Serio), so if you are coming or leaving by flight or train you won't need to bother with taxis or public transport. Your home in Milan you will be just a short walk away.
    Moreover Line number 1, 2 and 3 of the subway have station within walking distance from the apartment (maximum 700 meters) so any destination you are looking for is easily reachable from the apartment.

    DESCRIPTION

    Facing away from the main road the apartment is quiet and bright, and has everything you need for, a holiday, business or a shopping weekend with your friends.
    The apartment is located at the seventh and top floor (yes, there is an elevator) and consists of one spacious bedroom with queen bed, cupboard, and an armchair, one living room with sofa bed and dining area with TV set DVD player and a little sound system for your I pod, a fully functional, self catered kitchen with dish washer and a bathroom with a large and comfortable shower and washing machine.
    Free high speed internet Wi Fi 24/7 is included in the rate and the apartment is AC equipped. At your arrival you will find ironed linen in your bed and towels in the bathroom plus a bottle of water and some basic items for your comfort during your stay.
    In the apartment you will find a welcome book with all the info regarding the apartment and the neighborhood plus some useful suggestion for your visit in town like tips on where to go for a your first aperitivo in Milano.
    Moreover if you want to find a bottle of wine at your arrival or want some particular item from the grocery we can provide it at a minimum surcharge. Just let us know.




    NEIGHBORHOOD

    Located just outside the beating heart of Milan's centro storico (Duomo and Teatro alla Scala are 4 stops away with the yellow subway) with its business district and its famous shopping boutique of Montenapoleone (3 stops with the yellow subway) and adjacent to the emerging creative and design districts of Lambrate-Via Ventura and Isola.
    Renowned shopping avenues of Corso Como and Corso Buenos Aires are also close by and the neighborhood is lively, with cafes and groceries, and has many restaurants ranging from regional italian trattorie and Pizzeria, to oriental and chinese.
    Also nearby is the prestigious jazz club Blue Note offering live events and dining.

    HOW TO GET THERE

    From Linate airport shuttles run from 6:00 AM to 23:45 PM and stop in Stazione Centrale (4€/person, around 25 minutes).From there it's a 5 minutes walk to the apartment.

    From Malpensa airport: shuttles run 24/7 and stop in Stazione Centrale (10€/person, around 45 minutes).From there it's a 5 minutes walk to the apartment.

    From Orio al serio airport: shuttles run from 04:10 AM to 00:15 AM and stop in Stazione Centrale (5€/person, around 1 hour).From there it's a 5 minutes walk to the apartment .

Excellent location. Close to Milan’s Stazione Centrale. There was a discrepancy with the tourism tax for the stay which elevated the quote, but the host was very agreeable allowing us to do a early check in. I have to admit that the misunderstanding with the tax increase was minimal compared to the kindness of the host allowing us to check in early, since we traveled with my elderly mom. I highly recommend this place for any future travel to Milan.

Our space was clean and quiet. The area is steps from the Centrale train station so you think it would be loud with traffic and people, but it was not. We had a great stay.

This is a great place to stay and see Milan. Close to both the green and red metro lines it’s less than 15 minutes to every major site to visit. Clean and quiet neighborhood too!

Location was quiet and very close to Central Station. Only complaint would be the overly complicated locking system for leaving and entering the property.

Convenient and comfortable

This apartment was great for us as we had a very early morning train to catch and it was very convenient to Milano Centrale. The apartment is comfortable and quiet! Tomaso was a great host and very helpful!

Like what others have put, a number of different keys and doors to unlock, but each key is different, so quickly get used to each one. The apartment is exactly as described, very close to Milan Central Station, which is why I picked, as was travelling out each day by train, there is a Aldi just down the main road past the station, quite a small though, there is also a larger supermarket, underneath the station, which has more choice, but not as cheap as aldi. There are a number of restaurants within a short walk, although I am not a fan of Italian food, I came foe the trains as a train enthusiast, with a couple of days out to see two of the great lakes of Italy, I decided to cook my own food to suit my taste, that was easy to do in the apartment, although not not a great selection, but at home we have things to suit a personal needs, the range of utensils and crockery is good enough to cook with, I had no problem cooking 8 nights out of the 12 I stayed there. Having a washing machine was good, as I was travelling, Milan was my first stop, with another 13 days in Munich, I was able to wash my clothes ready for the second part of my Inter-Rail trip, so not needing to carry a massive amount of clothing. There were also nice touches in the room, with cleaning products there for both the washing machine and dishwasher, although I washed by hand, there was a cloth a scruber and washing up liquid, tea towel, tea, coffee and sugar

Spent a week enjoying Milan. Great apartment in a good location, a few minutes away from the main station. Just as it was described. Very easy check in process, secure and comfortable. Highly recommended.
