"I hate to write bad reviews, cause I know it affects peoples livelihood. However, our night was met with a snake in the bathroom, not to mention the fact that there was mold all over the wall. Then we got moved to another room and the TV didn’t work. The toilet got stopped up and the blow dryer didn’t even have an end into it to plug into the wall. I would’ve gave the staff worse ratings because when we asked about the TV, they pretty much told us we need to fix it. However, I gave her not such...

"Not very clean. Worn carpet, sink drained slowly, toilet didnt flush very well. Lights in bathroom and hallway went out and the woman at the front desk had to reset the breaker. Bed and pillow were uncomfortable."

"This was a lovely place to stay for a wedding related trip to Rogersville. It is conveniently located and has wonderful, historic charm. Our room “The Browns” was clean and very comfortable. The check in and check out procedure was easy and the Desk Clerk was very kind and accommodating. I highly recommend a stay here!"

"Pictures online did NOT match reality. Dirty room with dust that had been present a very long time. Broken glass pieces on floor. Yellow stained sheets. Shower curtain stunk of marijuana. Daylight exposed through exterior door. Room smelled of mildew. Bugs in the bathroom. Waste of money. Yes it’s a cheap motel but they can afford to actually clean…Also sat at the front desk nearly 10 minutes and called before anyone came to check us in. Would’ve rather slept in our car."

"The room was very humid despite all of our attempts to dry it out. There is no fan in the bathroom for humidity. The moisture made all metals corrode and it was just uncomfortable. Not good for asthmatics."

"First at check in You have to use telephone to even check in, the lady was rude. Guess what, no ice or washing facilities. The room was really thread bare, and just rough. I booked for 2 days, however decided to leave in the afternoon before the second night. I saw a roach, I was done. locked lobby, no way in. So I left, couldn't properly check out. This place is a dump. Pay $40 more, stay at the quality inn."
