"No defraudó nuestras expectativas. Bonito hotel clásico, en un hermoso entorno, con un buen servicio y una gran piscina que mantienen abierta hasta las 21 horas. Quizá el servicio de desayunos, servidos a petición a cada mesa hace que sea un poco lento y no te permita disfrutar de la libertad de otros buffets. La habitación, en nuestro caso, un poco pequeña aunque acogedora y confortable."

"Great food at breakfast with a good choice. Excellent meal and reasonably priced at Nelson’s with very attentive staff. Rooms very clean, lovely bathroom products available and well stocked tea/coffee tray with hot chocolate and shortbread biscuits. Spa area great, good sized pool. Hot tub, sauna and steam room. All staff were very pleasant from reception, spa and dining room staff. A brilliant stay."

"Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed. The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub. Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. "
