I can’t recommend the hotel enough. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very attentive. They helped us every step of the way. The location was also very central and the breakfast was amazing. The projectors were fun to use.

An incredibly memorable wedding anniversary week. The team made us feel like we were the only guests in the entire hotel. They waited on us hand and foot - we felt like royalty! So personalized. Thoughtful touches like coordinating tours, bringing up an ice bucket for our champagne without our asking, preparing boxes lunches for early mornings before the cafe opened, and helping up plan a special anniversary spa and dinner in-room that wasn’t something they typically do all made for an incredibly special stay. It was a tranquil, design-forward oasis in the midst of the city within walking distance to the best of Roma. We can’t wait to plan our next stay!

Es un lugar increíble para una experiencia en pareja. El personal es súper amable, la ubicación es excelente, la decoración y la habitación también increíble. Definitivamente regresaría.

I adored this hotel! Our room was spacious, clean and charming. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating throughout our entire stay. The neighborhood has a ton of shopping & restaurants and the hotel is in the middle of it all (yet on a quiet block). I will definitely stay at this property again when I’m back in CDMX.

Great boutique hotel, friendly and accommodating staff, interior decorations were a cool vibe, great safe location near a lot of bars and restaurants. Our only slight “negative” was that they are expanding and doing a lot of construction next door so it was pretty loud but that won’t be forever. Overall, we had a really great stay and would go back!

Charming stay

Wonderful two-night stay for my husbands birthday. The neighborhood is wonderful, the location great, the room beautiful. The daily breakfast was a treat. Just know the hotel is slim townhouse/brownstone so stairs to rooms so not ideal for those with mobility issues. Thank you for great weekend!

Perfect stay. Room was freshly cleaned upon each arrival throughout the day. Rooms were beautiful. Breakfast was amazing. Coffee was great. Concierge service was professional, friendly and anticipated all our needs. Shuttle service was hassle free from the airport. The city plan for restaurants, bars. Galleries and sights had some things on there we had otherwise not found out about. Location was perfect. Felt super safe. Amenities were great. Enjoyed the roof garden, bathtub and shower. Rooms were quiet. Good Sony TV with Roku AC worked great. Showers were great. Also enjoyed opening floor to ceiling doors onto the street for breakfast and during the rain shower. Enjoyed the interior design and art throughout the hotel. Elevator came in handy also. Bed was comfortable. Nespresso machine came in handy also. Enough wall sockets for electronics. Other quests were friendly and polite. 5 minute walk from panadería rosetta should u want world class pastries. Walking distance to numerous Michelin rated restaurants, galleries, markets and shops. Neighborhood one of the safest in mexico city and felt safe during our entire stay. We will be back to experience other rooms.

A Magical Boutique Stay in the Heart of Roma Norte We recently stayed at La Valise Mexico, and it exceeded all of our expectations. My wife, who has a deep appreciation for boutique hotels, was particularly excited to stay here, and the experience truly delivered. The location in Roma Norte is perfect—right in the middle of one of Mexico City’s most vibrant and artistic neighborhoods, with fantastic restaurants, cafes, and galleries just steps away. We stayed in the Atlas room, which was beautifully designed and incredibly spacious. The room felt like a perfect blend of luxury and local artistry, with thoughtful, stylish details everywhere you looked. The large, comfortable bed and chic sitting area created a warm, inviting atmosphere that made it hard to leave the room. The attention to detail at La Valise is impeccable, each room was very unique from what we saw but Atlas was our favorite and we enjoyed its great rooftop views and outside shower. If you're looking for a unique, luxurious boutique hotel in Mexico City, La Valise is the perfect choice.

Beautiful but flawed

When we decided to splurge on an expensive luxury hotel, we expected a basic level of service. Like a working elevator. A room on the 2nd floor was problematic given my wife’s knee injury, and we were astonished to learn the elevator had been out for a month. The young staffers gamely hauled our bags up the steep stairs, but there wasn’t even a proactive offer to bring our bags downstairs the day we departed. We were brought lactose-free milk with our breakfast, and when we asked for whole milk were told they didn’t have any. This was completely untrue - they run a cafe next door! The young lady told us it tasted exactly like regular milk - also untrue. It’s not a huge deal, but for $800/night, service should be without problems. The cleaning staff was excellent, and the front desk friendly. It just didn’t seem like anyone was really in charge.

The room was spacious and the decor was fantastic. We loved everything about our stay, but especially the staff. Gabriella, Cesar, and Erik are so friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We will definitely stay again!

Loved our stay at La Valise. The property is so unique and beautiful. The staff was amazing. Cesar was so awesome in helping us and answering all our questions. He along with his team members Eric and Gaby made us feel so welcome and at home. Would definitely recommend and we plan to go back!

La Valise was the perfect place to stay for our 4-night trip to Mexico City. The Patio Room was beautiful and spacious. The service was phenomenal. We felt well taken care of. Highly recommend for couples.

Home away from home

La Valise is my new favorite place to stay in the Mexico City neighborhood of Roma Norte. The small hotel feels more like a private home than a traditional hotel which is part of its charm.
