Situated perfectly on the brow of the mountain, this gated property will make you feel like you`re a million miles from anything - when you`re actually just a few minutes away from everything. Just minutes away from downtown Mentone and parks - finding the perfect hiking or biking trail, park, restaurant, or place to shop will be a breeze.



This two bedroom, one bath, has an open floor plan with floor to ceiling windows showcasing fantastic views.On the main floor, you`ll find the living area with a fully stocked kitchen, the master bedroom with queen bed, full bath, and laundry area. Just up the spiral staircase is the open loft, overlooking the main floor, with two twin beds.



Outside, the wrap around deck is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. After a full day of adventure, you can wind down by the fire under the twinkling lights of the outdoor pergola.



Whether you`re coming to an event, for outdoor adventure, or just some quiet time away - The Nook is sure to check every box on your list of the perfect place to stay!

Cute furnishings and had everything we needed. It should be noted in the description that the “Fantastic views” are seasonal and not implied to be otherwise. The photos of the views on VRBO are not from the property location and should be noted as such. This amounts to misrepresentation.

The view was disappointing. I'm sure in the winter the view is better, but with the leaves on, there is almost no view. The pictures of the cabin show a gas fireplace in the main room. After we arrived, we were told that guests were not allowed to use it, very disappointing. There is a fire pit outside, but no firewood is furnished. But it is a very cute little cabin.

Wonderful, relaxing cabin!

The property was amazing, so relaxing, tucked back in the woods on the brow of the mountain. The cabin was well-stocked with anything we needed for our three days. Definitely will be back!

Vacation

The home was beautiful. But spiders not so much, inside and out. Need more towels if more than 2 people staying. Had to wash them everyday. Other than that the place is quiet, and peaceful. Very cozy.

Lovely secluded home for a couple's short stay

Loved the location - not far from town, but far enough away from neighboring house to almost feel like it's secluded in the woods. Tall windows give a beautiful view. Comfortable furnishings. Setup is ideal for a couple. Twin beds in loft upstairs can accomodate two other people, but would be careful with small children with the stairs. Only 2 stools at the bar, 2 chairs at the table, 2 chairs on the deck. Nice kitchen but not well stocked. Need more plates and bowls so guests don't have to run the dishwasher every day. Also need glass wineglasses, coffee/tea creamer/sugar plus basic spices, foil, etc.
