A first-floor, contemporary apartment, set on a quiet street, in the scenic port of San Foca on the Adriatic coast. This apartment sleeps 6 people and is ideal for friends or a family looking for a relaxed beach holiday in beautiful surroundings.

The apartment has an extensive wraparound balcony which brings the outside indoors, thanks to several sets of French windows. The balcony has a table and chairs for meals al fresco, as well as a shower, which is particularly useful after a day on the beach. Inside, the open-plan living area, has a dining table, TV and a large stone fireplace. The kitchen is linked to the living room via an attractive bricked archway. It is equipped with a cooker hob, oven,fridge/freezer and coffee machine. A door from the kitchen leads out to the dining area on the terrace.

Bedroom 1: The airy master bedroom has a contemporary double bed and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: This second room has two single beds (which can be joined)
Bedroom 3: This bedroom also has 2 single beds, a wardrobe and doors that open directly onto the balcony.

The modern bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, basin, bidet and WC.

Location
The popular port of San Foca has been inhabited for millennia. It has some lovely beaches including Li Marangi, which is just 500m from the apartment. The town centre offers a taste of “La dolce vita” with a range of restaurants, cafés and ice cream parlours. It is a great spot for people-watching during an evening stroll. There is always plenty to see in the busy harbour.

The city of Lecce (30 minutes) is famous for its wonderful Baroque architecture as well as its Roman ruins. It is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit. Not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping.

Golfers will enjoy the two courses near the town of Acaya (15 minutes) or for more exercise and a hike through unspoiled Mediterranean countryside, there is the WWF nature reserve of Le Cesine (15 minutes).

For a wide range of local produce, San Foca’s weekly market (Tuesday mornings in the summer) is a treasure trove of clothes, shoes and household goods as well as the finest regional produce including vegetables and fruit, olive oil and cheese.

The closest airport is at Brindisi - just over an hour away by car.
