There was so much to like about staying at Luxe - clean, conveniently located, styled beautifully and a big kitchen and bathroom. However, we specifically searched for and booked the apartment because it was supposed to have a clothes dryer. We were staying here for work and packed assuming we could launder our work clothes. Instead, we ended up going to work in damp clothes because we could not get them dry overnight. Also, we were only provided with two small, thin bath towels for a five night stay. These were sodden within the first couple of days and we couldn’t get them dry. The air conditioner did not work. Finally, the hot water service is in the bedroom. For several hours one morning an alarm on the HWS sounded, making it impossible to sleep. When we asked the property manager about this we were told we just had to wait it out and that “it will stop in a few hours”. As I said, lots to like about Luxe, but overall our experience was just OK…

Very convienient

An ideal position for anyone not wanting to drive too much. We enjoyed our stay but did think that the accommodation was on the high side price wise for what we received. Small bed, 2 bath towels but only 1 face towel, no tissues, no dish washing tablets, no washing powder - no welcoming bottle or similar - those things cost little or nothing but make a big difference. And a cleaning fee of $180 on top of us having to ensure place is as found it is hard to accept.
