Nice and clean - good service

Everything perfect for a short business stay. Fully equipped kitchen - thought a few more plates and cups would be nice to avoid running the dishwasher half-empty (or with a few items). Excellent coffee at "The League of Honest Coffee" nearby at 8 Exploration Ln. "101" has no reception. Hons provided good service on check-in.

Excellent accommodation

Excellent location and great view if you get high floor. Good communication with staff. Bedrooms are very small but good enough for sleeping. Apartment was very clean and equipped with all appliances you may possibly need for cooking and washing. Beds are a bit too soft to my liking but still comfortable. Would use it again.

Modern, clean and convenient apartment

This is a modern, clean and convenient flat. It has a bed room, separate working space, a large living area and kitchen, fully equipped with everything needed. Also has a washing and drying machine. All clean, new and located just on top of a tram station (that runs for free for travel in Melbourne city). Note there's no cleaning service (not that I needed it for my 2 night stay) and the toiletries are limited to the first day of your stay. Also, make sure you contact the owner in advance as there's no lobby! The above is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. Bottom line - I'd come back and recommend it.

Spotless apartment in central location

Apartment is in excellent condition and absolutely sparkling clean. Fully equipped kitchen/laundry and good size bedroom. Quiet location. No view, but we were out & about most of the time anyway. There is no dedicated check-in counter, but the host Hons will meet you at any time that suits you to check in - arrange in advance. Hons was also extremely accommodating to special requests during the stay, extra credit for that! Location is close to all the day and night attractions in the eastern CBD, including Chinatown. Would stay again.

Avoid at all cost

All future guests should be warned that Apartment 101 rooms don’t have proper windows or sunlights. Please see my attached photo. First of all, this is not a legit “hotel” because there is no front desk or receiption and I couldn’t find any sign for “ Apartment 101”. It’s more like a residential apartment building where some apartments remain unsold due to bad facing On my arrival, I contacted customer service to request a cancellation on 2nd stay as the minute I got into room I felt super disappointed and stressed. I was here for a relaxing weekend but when I opened the curtain I was shocked ... the construction building next door was only 2-3 Meters away from my balcony and there was no sunlights in this apartment. They refused me and offerred me a room on level three facing Lonsdale street but again room has No Window!!! I’m not sure if Apartment 101 is really registered for “hotel” use. From their ABN registration check I can only see “The Trustee for Lin Properties Trust”?? I strongly believe that Apartment 101 has incomplete/ inaccurate disclosure on their “products”. They should definitely disclose that there is no window in their bedrooms and the fact that they are right next to a construction site coz it is so material if I would have avoid it when I decided which hotel to book

Spacious room in central location

Great communication, very helpful staff. the room is really spacious and equipped with all facilities. Stayed at other apartments before but it was very hard to find it or communicate. The only downside is the couch, too low and very uncomfortable. It would be nice to have a box of tissues and shower caps.

When in Melbourne, you need to be centrally located. This is the place to be. Near tram, shopping centers, attractions, the works.... Good luck!......

Convenient city location

Very conveniently located self contained apartment within walking distance of many of the city attractions and shopping, We found the room very clean and tidy but a bit sparce of furniture. Accessing the room after hours was not an issue with our host Hons meeting us even though our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until close to 8.30pm. A late checkout on the Sunday was requested and approved which was great. We felt it could do with an air conditioner in the bedroom as it did get warm during the night. Plenty of cupboard and wardrobe space for unpacking.

Modern and clean room, close to everything

Was very satisfied with the owner of the room, and the accuracy of the advertised room, was as expected and better. Just thought we would have access to the rooftop and have a balcony but neither were accessible.

Great location for our needs with the free tram stop only 50m away. Nice apartment with everything you need and the manager was very friendly and accommodating of our check in and out requirements.

1st floor room given was nxt to neighbouring lit construction hoarding. Was initially upset as concerned with noise on weekday but fortunately Monday was off day due to Melbourne Cup on Tuesday. Perhaps disclosure on roims nxt to building site under construction should be disclosed. Otherwise, stay was ok.

Close to everything in the City

Very new modern clean apartment but not suited to our family 2 Parents and Children 18 & 15. location was great for shows and shopping.
