While our home DOES NOT have a Dock, you can rent Kayaks and Stand Up Paddle boards from The Aquatic Center in Deep Creek who will drop off and pick up directly at the home!!!! They provide life vests as well! Located at the shallow end of the Mc Henry cove, we frequently do Kayaking, SUP, and fishing directly out the back of the home!

Welcome to your happy place “At Wisps End” (check out or FB page)! Tastefully decorated throughout, the home features an open layout with stunning lake views. From the front porch, watch the slopes and riders on the Wisp Mountain Coaster before you walk over to join in the fun! Watch the Fireworks too for July 4th (they are launched from the tubing hill which you can see from the front porch). After a day of fun, unwind and watch your favorite movie on the wall-mounted flatscreen Smart TV featuring Roku in the great room with a crackling fire in the background. For your convenience, this home also offers free WIFI. Recently updated, the kitchen features granite counters, fully stocked kitchen with spices, Keurig and full size coffee pot, tons of cabinet space and a large breakfast bar with ample seating. Upstairs, the spacious master bedroom retreat will delight you with amazing views of Deep Creek Lake that will greet you each morning. Vaulted ceilings and lots of natural light make this a welcoming place to relax. Watch a movie in bed on the flat-screen TV with Roku remote after a busy day at the lake/slopes. Connect to your existing streaming services or enjoy free programming through Roku. You will find another bedroom with a king bed on the upper level. Decorated with your comfort in mind, a good night's sleep is guaranteed. The lower level features a full sized pool table (with lake views) and an electric fireplace for extra ambiance and warmth. Watch a movie or game on the wall mounted flat-screen TV with Roku remote. Step outside the lower level patio and roast s'more on the open fire pit, grill your favorite foods, and unwind in the steaming outdoor hot tub.


Conveniently located, you can walk to the lodge at Wisp Ski and Golf Resort. They offer year round activities that include skiing/snowboarding, snow tubing, mountain biking, ice skating, mountain coaster rides, golf, and zip lines/ropes course.


When you are ready to head out and explore all that Deep Creek has to offer, you will find that restaurants, shops, mini golf, marinas and more are within a five-minute drive. Be sure to add a stop at Swallow Falls State Park to your itinerary - it is home to three waterfalls and miles of hiking trails.

****Please note, we are at the shallow end of McHenry cove and DO NOT HAVE A DOCK. We are perfectly situated for putting in Kayaks, Stand Up Paddle boards, and Fishing from the shore. The Aquatic Center has reasonable rates for rentals and will pick up and drop off directly at the house****

Please note, firewood is not provided (can be picked up at Shop N' Save or various firewood kiosks). We try to keep the propane tank full for the grill but it's not guaranteed or provided.

- No pets allowed, no exceptions. Please do not ask, size does not matter! Owner has allergies. Bringing an unauthorized pet is subject to a $500 fee and immediate termination of stay with no refund.
- You must update your guest count prior to arrival if the numbers have changed.
- The guest count should reflect the most number of guests that will be staying in the home at a given night, even if it's a partial stay the charge is the same. There is an additional $50 charge per person/per night over 7 guests unless prior arrangements have been made with the host. We often have to hire a second cleaner to turn over the home in time over that amount. No additional guests permitted without prior written authorization from the owner and failure to disclose is subject to additional fees or termination of your stay.
- Access code and welcome e-mail is sent within 48 hours of your stay. Guest count and acknowledgement of the House Rules must be confirmed in writing prior to receiving the entry code to the home.
- No events, parties, or large gatherings
- Must be at least 25 years old to book
- Respectful Children are welcome (please note, the basement is open from the main level so the home may not be suitable for toddlers. A portable high chair, pack and play, and video baby monitor available upon request)
- Hot Tub towels are NOT provided so we recommend bringing your own if you wish to use the tub. If you use a white bath towel from inside and it is stained or damaged, there will be a $25 fee per each towel damaged.
- Please use the hot tub responsibly and make sure that you shower before entering the tub and minimize grass and lotions that can cause build up. The hot tub is serviced after every guest. If the hot tub needs to be drained and refilled due to excess grass/scum in the tub, there is a $50 fee as that is half of what we are charged.
- Photo ID may be required upon check-in
- NOTE: Your safety matters. This property features 4 exterior security cameras that are continuously monitored facing the driveway, entrance, and facing the sides of the house. They do not look into interior spaces.
- NOTE: This property requires stairs and bedrooms are not all on the same level.
