"My mom was scheduled to have surgery a couple of weeks before our stay and I got the house so my brother, his family, my family and kids and parents could hang out for the weekend. It was perfect for us because my parents can’t walk up and down stairs. The game room was a plus for the kids. We fished and crabbed the whole weekend. Only thing is I wish it had a deck with lights but none the less it was a great place to stay and will come back! Hopefully soon! "

"We have stayed at the Roundhouse in Sargent since 2015 for Labor Day. (Minus one year for a Hurricane) It is a great location. Beach out the front door, and fishing from the dock out the back. 4 bedrooms, plus a loft, and 5 bathrooms. 2 kitchens. The recent hurricane Beryl washed out some of the beach, but it's actually better. "

"It was very roomy and spacious for the family...kids enjoyed fishing off the pier...made the 9yr old birthday boy happy....loved everything BUT maybe upgrade the utensils and sharper knifes and newer cooking pans...other then that it was good..thank you"

The inside has everything you need to be able to rest and relax after cooking up your catch from the day. I give this location all the stars, we will be back, a lot."

"The house was perfect for me! I loved the decor, it put me in the best mood right away! Nothing fancy but everything I needed was there. There were a few cobwebs I noticed in the kitchen and the grill could use a good cleaning and paint job. It would also be nice to have a few potholders in the kitchen. Other than that, everything met my expectations! The weather cooperated well with a nice breeze every day. It did rain most of the morning on Monday, but that was check out day. The mosquitos...

"House was nice and clean. Creek was fun to fish and we caught a few baby black drums and reds back there. But mostly caught bait and a couple of crabs. A lot of gar moving at night. But dead caney lake wasn’t 2 far and we caught a nice size drum out there. There was equipment to fish and crab but we brought our own. Would book again"

"The property was clean and mostly as described except the listing should be as a condo. This house is split and I believe the owners have the other side. They were not there during our stay. Also if you are bringing a boat, the steep dip in driveway will not allow your trailer to back in so would be tough if sharing with owners or another renter. Even the check in and out instructions on the fridge call this a condo. Once again, it was clean, great location. There is not a specific master...
