Spacious, serene retreat in the foothills of the Smokies- close to the Dragon!

Beautiful 5 bedroom/5 bath home in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. Even though this is a peaceful mountain retreat, you have fast fiber optic internet! This is a great place for hosting large gatherings with an open kitchen and spacious living areas. Each bedroom has an adjoining bathroom en-suite. Four of the bedrooms have king beds. The huge master bedroom has a full size bunkbed, 2 full size beds, a full size trundle, and a twin trundle, for a total of 4 kings, 5 fulls, and 1 twin. Mattress brands include Avocado, Purple, and Dreamcloud. Views are of the surrounding woods and creek below with vistas of Chilhowee Mountain.

Please note that 2 bedrooms and a large living room are located on the first level, and the kitchen, 3 bedrooms (including the huge master suite with laundry), and family room are on the second level. The split level stairs between floors are wide and shallow. There is plenty of parking and an attached 2 car garage with extra fridge/freezer available for your use. The 43 acre property has 4 homes. The Blueberry Creek Cottage is also available for rent.

The Lodge is stocked with all the essentials- toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, tin foil, etc- we want it to feel like your home away from home. Enjoy foosball, board games, and puzzles and be sure to relax in the hammock and stargaze from the deck loungers.

The driveway up to the home and adjacent parking area is newly paved and it's wonderful! Shared amenities include a basketball hoop and portable pickleball setup.

The Lodge is 30 minutes from the Knoxville airport and about 5 minutes from the main rendezvous spot for driving the Tail of the Dragon. This is a quiet and serene country neighborhood. Down the hill below the home is a walking trail with bridge access over the creek to a majestic waterfall cascading into a scenic swimming hole.

Please be mindful that along with the peace and beauty of being in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains you may encounter potentially dangerous wildlife, including bears, snakes, and spiders. We frequently see deer, squirrels, hawks, and blue heron, and have even observed a river otter frolicking in the creek!

We really enjoyed our stay- the house was clean and bright with modern decor and comfortable bedding. The accommodations were perfect. Love that the kitchen is labeled. 4-5 people were able to prepare a meal simultaneously.

We stayed at this property for our family Thanksgiving vacation this year. I cannot recommend this place enough. Mrs. Adrienne, property owner, went above and beyond for me and my family. The first night we arrived, the tv would not work. She came as soon as she could and resolved the issue. She also brought over some extra equipment to help me with my mother and grandmother who are in a wheelchair / use a walker. The property / house was beautiful. Her kindness will not be forgotten. If you’re looking for a hidden gem, getaway house away from the busy towns - this is it.

We had a big group to enjoy the dragon/mountains. Super spacious house, large kitchen area, plenty of areas to rest and hang. Little pond in the bottom of the hill to jump in during a hot day (fish are gonna nibble lol). The driveway is steep so keep that in mind for trailers or cars with limited traction. We didn’t have a problem, just had to be mindful of the trailer cleaning the change of slope of the driveway.

Our family of 13 (my husband & I and our 2 adult children, son in love, daughter in love and 6 grandchildren plus a bonus grandchild) stayed in this absolutely beautiful home. The home is gorgeous and was perfect for our family. It was fully stocked with coffee, filters, very nice shampoos, conditioners, body wash, the beds were so super comfy. We highly recommended this beautiful home. The staff were so friendly and we didn’t have any problems during our stay. 3 bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs. 5 bathrooms total. 10/10 recommend.
