"One of our rooms was very hot and loud because it’s near the extraction fan from the restaurant. Another room where my parents stayed, the heating was on (during a May heat wave) and the tap/showering water was boiling hot with no cold running at all. The staff came to check, said there are no spare rooms to switch to because of the bank holiday weekend. "The location was good and free parking. The rooms looked nothing like the photos. Everything looked like it was from the 80's and very worn. If we were staying longer than 1 night I would have tried to find somewhere better"

"OK pub/hotel - charming setting and building and great shower/bathroom. Wifi also fine. But my room was very small - barely enough room to walk around a single bed (and this for £110/night), bed was very uncomfortable and reception was never manned (I had to go and find staff 3 times). At 30% less price this would be fine, but at the price I paid I would not recommend."
