"Communication was great, host was helpful and replies were in a timely manner. Room was clean, my dislikes shoot room is there is no counter or dresser space, had to use kitchen table. Also, we only had hot water the first day, the rest of our stay was cold showers. There are no pool chairs around pool, grill had no propane tank. "I picked the Surfing Turtle based upon positive reviews but I definitely didn’t have a good experience. I guess someone has to draw the short straw. That was me - my room faced the very BUSY and LOUD road that was about 4 feet from the door. The loud music from nearby clubs went on late into the night. "The apartment was perfect for my husband and I. The area is nice and not crowded. I loved the proximity to the main roads to travel about on the island. It had parking which we were really grateful for.it was really good value for $. I would recommend and definitely book here again. "

"Hôtel is ok, but not « boutique «  level. You are welcomed by someone in an office, handing beach towels and that is it. No water bottles in the room, bed was average and looked very cheap. No beach in front you can walk to the nearest access 5min away. There was supposed to have a coffee pot, but we never saw it. On the good side it is near the Luquillo food street which you could walk to. "
