And when you come inside you’ll realize the interior lives up to it, with exquisite furnishings and countless luxurious touches like the gold china display case. The fully appointed kitchen. The cherry wood four post canopy bed and two walk-in closets in the master suite. The bathtub, walk-in shower and a separate toilet/bidet area in the ensuite bathroom.

In the living room, floor-to-ceiling windows let you gaze out at the ocean while you recline on the sofa, cooled by air conditioning and ceiling fans. When you take a brief respite from your ocean viewing, you can watch cable on the big screen television or use the free wi-fi to post updates of your trip.

The collaboration continues on the pool deck, where a domed cabana furnished with gas grills sits beside the vanishing edge pool. On the raised pool deck, a small island of lush tropical foliage separates the pool from the hot tub, which looks out over the breaking surf.

Marco Island is the largest of Florida’s ten thousand islands, and the Belize seems like it’s filled with ten thousand amenities. You’ll find a billiards room, library, theatre, social room, state-of-the-art fitness center with massage room, lighted tennis courts and, just steps away, the most luxurious amenity of all, miles of pristine beach.
