Perfect - Will look to stay again

Was perfect for our family of 4. Great location, garage spaces, nicely decorated common space upstairs, had everything we needed for cooking at home, outdoor closet for ski storage, good heating - able to control temperature preferences per room, great fireplace, comfortable beds, a small work space perfect for checking emails. We really loved the upstairs especially. Only two comments were the master bedroom duvet had a few stains on top of it which I noticed upon check in and notified the management who responded right away that they would talk to housekeeping. Also in the master bathroom shower, the temperature handle was opposite (hot was actually cold, cold was actually hot) We loved it and definitely will look to book here again.

Perfect location, great place

This place was incredibly close to the village and Canyon gondolas (4 mins walk that we did with skis/snowboards easily). Great place that was beautiful, clean, and great amenities. Super easy.

Great place, horrible communication

The location of this unit is perfect for summer and winter activities, being just a short walk to the Village. Check-in was smooth, and we settled in quickly. However, 3 hours later, I received a vague text from Vacasa about an urgent issue stating we had to relocate, with no additional details. I actually thought it was spam, so I called the number on my confirmation email. After calling, I learned they wanted to move us due to a water heater leak, meaning no hot water. This should have been addressed before we checked in. The alternate location they offered was far and not nearly as nice, so we opened to stay without hot water, but the issue wasn’t resolved during our entire stay. The lack of timely communication and action was frustrating. I was offered a comp of $200 which is insane considering the circumstances and that they would have had to pay for another unit if we chose to relocate. Though the place itself was great, the property management was beyond disappointing. I would give this another shot for winter because of the epic location.

BYOB (Bring Your Own Blanket)

The biggest disappointment was the lack of bedding. There was only a sheet with the thinnest threadbare coverlet on each bed with no extra blankets at the property. Even though the emails stated to bring blankets “in case the roads get closed in Mammoth,” the property description should specifically state there are no blankets on the beds. I would have brought extra bedding if I knew this. The beds were adequate, but not warm and comfortable. The property was freezing cold when we arrived late at night so some blankets would have been nice. The cleanliness of the property was good except the first thing I noticed in the kitchen were the fingerprints all over the dishwasher. This first impression made me wonder if the rest of the rental was clean. Lastly, the walkway in front of the rental is flooded with water from the melting snow which required us to carefully walk on the grass, ice and wet mud around it. Luckily none of us slipped and got injured, or ruined our shoes. Due to it's close proximity to the gondola, the rental was fine but overall not worthy of five stars. I wish I knew about the lack of bedding.

Great condo excellent location

Amazing location right next to the Village. Condo was clean, comfortable and perfect for our family of four with small children. Owners did a great job with upgrading and furnishing the unit. Everything was brand new and had everything we needed.
