Sunshine Village 126: Pet friendly, Close to Green

  • Spacious 1-bedroom plus loft, 1-bath condo located at Sunshine Village in Mammoth Lakes, near the Sierra Star Golf Course and shuttle route to Eagle Lodge. Sleeps up to 6 guests and is approximately 1,000 sq. ft. Pet-friendly.

    Enter on the second story of the building. The first floor features an open floor plan with the living room, dining area, kitchen, primary bedroom, and bathroom. The living room offers a TV, Wifi, a pellet stove and access to the deck. The dining area with seating for 4 plus additional seating at the kitchen bar. The fully equipped kitchen includes all major appliances, cookware, and dishware. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, and the main bathroom across the hall includes a shower/tub combo with a separate vanity area.

    Upstairs, the loft includes two semi-private sleeping areas, each with a queen bed. The loft is open to the living room below with a half wall.

    Guests enjoy access to Sunshine Village's community amenities, including a recreation room with billiards, ping pong, and video games, as well as a year-round spa and sauna, heated summer pool, BBQ areas, and tennis court. Laundry facilities are available on-site with QR code instructions on the machines. Two outdoor parking spaces are included.

Great location. Easy access to town and mountain. Comfy beds. Kitchen has everything needed to make meals. Hot tub and rec room were very nice after a day on the mountain.

Great location being central to everything, but unit is dark n noisy next to busy road. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary equipment/utensils. Happy it’s pet friendly.

The property was good. However, the actual location was not to our liking. The unit is at the corner of two streets so the car traffic is loud and because the unit does not have AC, when the windows are open, it is even louder. In our unit, it was mostly clean. There were a few items left from previous guests that we found in the main bedroom, a nail clipper, empty water bottle and another trash item. We have stayed at other complexes and rooms and most often the kitchens are pretty well stocked for cooking. In this unit, some basics like salt and pepper and some other cooking staples were not there (we ended up buying from the market). If we had known that we would need those supplies, we would have brought from home. On the positive side, the unit and complex was quiet (other than the street noise). Also, it was in a good location, pretty central to everything.
