  • Gorgeous, sunny, and open, this beautifully remodeled top floor unit at The Summit is located directly across the street from Eagle Lodge and is considered ski-in/ski-out when Eagle Lodge is open. Easily get to the mountain and on the hill in two minutes! Settle into the spacious living area with its vaulted ceiling, wood-burning fireplace, flatscreen TV, and sliding door access out to the deck. The well-equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances and plenty of accessories to help the visiting chefs in your group whip up quick snacks or full meals. Updated bathrooms with a nice soaking tub after a long day of adventuring. Reserved underground parking means no clearing snow from your car. Take advantage of the Summit's shared amenities that include outdoor swimming pools (summer months only), four year-round outdoor spas, saunas, a seasonal tennis court, a BBQ area, and a newly-upgraded fitness center.

    This property is a two-minute walk to Chair 15 Eagle Express at Eagle Lodge and minutes to many great hiking and biking trails. The Village at Mammoth Lakes is just a mile-and-a-half away where you will find great restaurants, shops, and even a bowling alley for some family fun. The Sierra Star Golf Course is only a ten-minute walk (half-mile away), while Woolly's Tube Park is three-and-a-half miles away. For even more fun, June Lake is 20 miles away and Yosemite Valley is a two-hour drive! Great Place to stay with great location

Grand 70 was a great place to stay with all the necessities, comfortable beds and living space with excellent amenities, pool and bbq. The kids also had a blast in the place and on the bunk beds.

Location & Comfort

Place was great, exactly as described and shown in the pictures. The few small issues we had (bedding sheets and blankets, toilet paper) were all handled quickly easily through Vacasa text support. The location is fantastic. The condo is an easy short 2-4 min walk to Eagle Lodge and Eagle Express lift. The condo location, underground parking, and ease of getting back and forth to the condo throughout the ski day without the need for a car made the condo that much better. We would recommend and would definitely book again in the future.

Not fully accurate or honest description about parking: "Reserved underground parking" and "There is free parking available for 2 vehicles" should reasonably be interpreted as there are 2 spots. This is not true! Only ONE spot is provided. Once confirming we learned the 2nd spot is maybe available, maybe not so good luck figuring that out second family staying at the condo! Also not enough towels were provided for the 7 guests (I confirmed 7 guests would be staying). And be provided a total of 2 dishwasher pods for 4 days for 2 families feels cheap and silly. The instructions said we can buy more at the supermarket if needed. Felt cheap. A dresser and window blinds were also broken; I reported those to vacasa.

Immaculate and an excellent location

We were very impressed with this condo! The pictures are accurate- this place is immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. The towels looked and felt brand new. I usually never feel completely comfortable relaxing on the couch while on vacation - but here I did! Everything was so clean and I really appreciate that no pets are allowed in this rental. My son is allergic to dogs and it seems a lot of places allow animals. We would definitely stay here again! It felt like home away from home.

Perfect location!

This home comfortably accommodated 10 people! There was ample space, great kitchen supplies and appliances, enough toiletries and towels for pool and home! This is our 2nd stay though the first time in the summer season. Location was key – we were close to many activities that appealed to every family member (walking, hiking, biking, huge skate park, and the famous bike park)! There was enough space inside for us to share meals, play board games, watch movies, and just hang together. The neighbors were especially hospitable, spoke highly of the hosts’ family, and even offered us firewood! My family enjoyed all the onsite amenities, such as the gym, pool, and hot tub! We’ll be back in the winter!

Beautiful home away from home!

Everything was great! The Condo was beautiful clean and fully stocked with all necessities. Spacious cozy comfortable beds, We visited during summer time and the condo doesn’t have AC but thankfully the condo provided plenty of fans to keep us nice and cool. The pool and hot tubs were clean and stayed open until 10pm !! The only downfall of our trip was the condo is located on the 3rd floor and to get to it from The parking garage it takes 5 flights of stairs, it was kinda hard for my 70+ mom to get up and down. But we made it work. We’ll definitely book again! Overall it was a GREAT STAY!!! ❤️

Our group ranged from 8 to 90 years old, and everyone was happy with our 4 night stay. We were worried how many flights of stairs to get inside, but it was 4 sets of 7 stairs. The days and nights were warm, but a pretty good breeze would pass thru with the windows open and there were a few fans. The swimming pool was open for the summer but way too cold to enjoy. There were 4 smart TVs with some streaming services.The kitchen met our needs. There were some spices in the cupboard but salt and pepper were empty, so remember to BYO. Also, remember coffee filters if you bring coffee. The outdoor bbq grills were nice to have and just a short walk away. Check-in instructions were easy to follow. WiFi was decent which was great because cell service was pretty spotty in the area. There was plenty of natural light and the place has a fun mountain/bear/ski theme. Definitely recommend!

Great condo but terrible management

The condo itself was very nice but it's managed by Vacasa who were completely unhelpful. The unit was advertised as having access to a pool and tennis courts and there was no pool key. Spent 4 days communicating with Vacasa trying to get it and were never helped. Also, the tennis courts were delapidated and had no walls or nets.

Location, location, location!

The location is great - short walk (even in ski boots) to Eagle Lodge. We had to pull over to look up the complex map & figure out where to park - the GRAND building. The property manager sends texts before, would be nice to make this super clear in the text, so that we didn’t have to search links & the listing to find it when we got up there.The kitchen was setup nicely. Would be really nice if there was plastic wrap or foil, and more than 3 plastic cups for bringing drinks to the spa after skiing.Note that firewood is not included, so unless the person before you left any behind, you need to remember to add that to your packing list.Overall it was clean, but the person that slept in the bunk noticed that either the sheets were dirty or stained. Would be nice to toss stained sheets so that you’re not second guessing whether or not you should be sleeping in that bed.I understand that most places now charge a fee for late checkout, but not letting you stay in the parking space for an extra hour was a major bummer. 10am checkout is really early, would’ve been nice to be allowed to park for a little longer.

Misinformation on the listing

The listing said that it sleeps 10 people and after we made our reservation, they revised it to 9 people max without notifying us. Also, the listing said “2 free parking space”. That was also false information. There was only one space assigned to the car and it was impossible to find a 2nd parking space. We had to park the 2nd car at a friend’s place and uber back and forth as there was no street parking either. An added cost and major inconvenience. We also had to deal with a mouse situation in the condo. Very stressful stay all together. Also, the condo was not ready for check in at 4:00 pm. We had to wait in the hallway for 40 minutes for the cleaning crew to finish and get out. The 2nd floor sofa bed’s frame was broken and no linen was in the condo for that sofa. We called Vacassa to let them know late at night when we found out and wanted the linen and blanket for that sofa bed. They said that it can not be delivered till the next day and so one person had to sleep without sofa and blanket on a broken bed frame. We had to use towels for cover. The condo is on the 2nd level and no elevator. We had to take our heavy luggage up 2 flight of stairs. Horrible customer service all together.

Beautiful condo!

This condo was beautiful, confortable, and very clean! The kitchen was well stocked! We were really close to Eagle so it was perfect! We will definitely stay there again! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home to us!

Eagle Lodge retreat

Great place and exactly as advertised. Lots of natural light and super close to Eagle Lodge. Plus, kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfy and the setting was beautiful. We also loved using the hot tub. Check in and out was a breeze. We will most certainly be back.

Winter Wonderland

This place was amazing for my family of 6. Pictures portray the place accurately and the condo was bright (huge windows and tall ceiling), roomy (2 stories with loft) and extremely clean. The kitchen was well stocked and has all the cooking utensils needed. The location couldn't of been any better... literally at Eagle Lodge!

Excellent condo!

Extremely clean and felt like home! Enjoyed a wonderful Fall getaway in this fairly large condo that easily accommodate our family of 7. Kitchen was fully stocked, comfy beds and 2 nice bathrooms. Can’t wait to book our Winter stay since it’s directly next to Eagle Lodge.

Super clean / close to everything!

Family of 10 and this place easily accommodated us all! Fantastic location across from Eagle Lodge and mins within The Village, Canyon, etc… tons of summer activities nearby and we can’t wait to come in the winter! Fully stocked kitchen, clean linens and huge windows makes this 5 stars!
