GORGEOUS WATER FRONT HOUSE / HUGE GARDEN & SEA ACCESS

ALDA is striking 1905 waterfront twin gabled home on sweeping acre overlooking the Sound and Otter Creek.
Recently renovated in the French style.

FIRST FLOOR
Large room with a light and harmonious decoration, light colors, a light floor and lots of natural light. Kitchen, perfectly equipped with a huge fridge and a huge freezer entirely at your disposal. Oversized living and dining rooms, TV room with projector, office with screen and printer (can use as sigle bedroom), bar room, laundry, mud room.

SECOND FLOOR
5 very large bedroom with their own full bathroom and 2 adjoining bedrooms for a total of 13 sleepers in 8 beds.

THIRD FLOOR
Large playroom/bedroom with 2 full beds for 4 sleepers and a Laundry.

Many rooms have an incredible view of the outside without vis-à-vis.

OUTSIDE
Oversized two level stone patio with stone bar, big city gas barbecue and sitting walls overlooking the water.
The huge lush grounds garden overlooks the water along its entire length. Very pretty stone lookout gazebo, at the end of the garden at the edge of the water with lower level cabana with water sports things (kayak, paddle, fish stick…).
A staircase allows you to go directly down into the water.

The Private club of Shore Acres with pool, beach, clubhouse and mooring just steps away (restricted access).
15 mn walk to Mamaroneck town, restaurants, shops and train direct to Manhattan.

Large, beautiful property in an excellent location!

This property worked out perfectly for our family group. We needed a home that could accommodate 14 people across 3 generations comfortably and this property definitely addressed our needs. The home is huge, very well laid out, and well appointed. It was very clean and functional. It had a nice homey feel and wasn't cluttered with the owner's things. Some specifics:• There are a LOT of spacious bedrooms. Most have en-suite bathrooms, which is great.• The main level is well laid out and has lots of space for a large group. •The dining room is perfect for both meals and other activities (we are big into board games and playing cards and the large dining room table was perfect).• Even though it was very cold during our stay, the house stayed a pleasant temperature. It was warm and cozy the entire time and we never needed to adjust the thermostat.• The kitchen was modern, clean, and also very well laid out. The fridge/freezer was large enough for all the food we brought (12 pints of ice cream too!) It was also easy to keep clean between meals. Oh, and the floor in the kitchen is heated (a highlight of the stay)!• The “mud room” / coat room was a great way to keep everyone’s shoes, coats, hats, etc. out of the main spaces.• The location is great. It is close to a variety of grocery stores, a few bagel places, and the Mamaroneck MTA train station.We were very happy with this rental. We were between a few options for this trip, and we feel we made the perfect choice!

Beautiful estate

Beautiful property

This home was the setting for our wedding weekend and provided an amazing space for all of our events. It’s spacious and comfortably hosted our entire family. The outdoor ambiance is unmatched, we couldn’t be happier with our choice to have our wedding here. Alex was a pleasure to work with, we’d love to visit again.

Great Place to Stay

Recently stayed at Alex's place for a long weekend golf trip with friends and it was even better than the pictures. Terrific place and Alex was extremely helpful! Would definitely recommend it and return!

Connecticut beauty

My family and I had a wonderful stay at this charming home. The pictures don’t come close to capturing the beauty of the home, its grounds and the views. Despite its large size, all the spaces felt intimate and cozy. Alex accommodated our request for a slightly earlier check-in and communicated extremely well during our stay. Extra touches like waters and towels nicely arranged on the beds weren’t lost on us. Home was clean and had all you needed to prepare meals. I can’t say enough about this home. It was truly a special place that allowed our large family to gather, laugh and love. I don’t always take the time to review a property (I’ve stayed at many upscale rentals), but felt compelled to share with others that this one should be highly considered.

We had a great time for the 4th of July. Alex's house was perfect for our family of 7. We enjoyed the water and the fireworks. The outside area was great for cooking out and relaxing. The view was terrific. The house and property-- super clean. There's a lot of comfortable space to spread out. The kitchen was very nicely stocked and appointed with very modern appliances. Alex was great! Would come back again!

Family reunion

The host/hostess as well as the house was fantastic! The weather was perfect for outside dining , yard sports and water play. Everyone had their own space with multiple bedrooms and the common areas as well as the kitchen could accompany everyone in our group of 10 adults and 2 infants. We all want to stay again in the future!

Family wedding

Our family gathered for a dinner with 22 people on the patio and the setting and house made that possible and it was lovely. 30 family members came to practice a dance on the back lawn and we had space in the house for them to relax and visit. Our family of 10 was very comfortable and found the accommodations tasteful and renovations were lovely! I would give a 5+ rating and thanks to Alex, who was so helpful before we arrived, with questions about the house.

Beautiful waterfront large home.

Our family rented this lovely home for the weekend of my daughter’s wedding in September, 2022, which was celebrated nearby in Rye, NY. We had 10 adults staying and needed space for all to prepare for the rehearsal dinner, the wedding and the day after gathering. We could not have found a nicer place to stay! Alex was wonderful and maintains a gorgeous home. There was plenty of space for all of us to get ready at the same time, many large bedrooms, beautifully appointed yet comfortable, with about 5 bathrooms on the second floor alone. The first floor living areas are also warm and inviting. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked, though we did not have time to cook other than breakfast one morning. In addition, the home is in a quiet neighborhood, with a fabulous backyard, on an inlet with fabulous views! We had some family over after all the festivities and enjoyed lawn games in the backyard all afternoon. At night we sat by the outdoor fire pit and enjoyed lots of laughs. We highly recommend this location for any family gathering. It is perfect for a large group and allows all to have the space to be alone and to commune in a beautiful and serene setting.

Best Stay Ever!

Alex and Tibo were so accommodating and easy to work with. They let us have our dream wedding in their backyard - it was so magical. Gorgeous property and views!

We had a wonderful time at Alex's property. She was a wonderful host and made sure our family had a great time. There were toys for our young daughter -- she thought she was at camp! And plenty to do for my son -- between ping pong, football, and badminton. But nothing was better than the water front views. Absolutely beautiful setting. Thanks Alex!

Gorgeous relaxing house

We had an amazing time in this house, this house is a great place for family and friends to stay at. The host Alex is very nice and easy to deal with. She is very accommodating and accessible. Her house has everything you need in a home.
