Cute Miners Cottage Close to Town

Elsie's Cottage is an original 1860 miners cottage which has been sympathetically renovated to retain it's original features. It's set on a large block with plenty of room for kids and pets. Main Street is at the end of the road an easy 10 minute stroll.

There are two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other has two single beds. There is also a very comfortable queen size sofa bed. All linen and towels provided.

For your comfort there is a split system air con and a gorgeous wood heater. Washing machine, dryer, BBQ, high chair and porta cot are all supplied.

Kitchen has a gas cook top, electric wall oven, microwave and a family size fridge.

There's a cubby house and a swing set to help keep the kids occupied.

Per couple $140.00.

Extra guests $25.00 per night.

Children (over 5 years) $25.00 per night.

Cute Cottage

A gorgeous cottage , with everything we needed for a short stay whilst visiting the area , highly recommended it for anyone who wishes to visit Maldon and surrounding areas , couldn’t have asked for more , hope to return again in the future.

Gorgeous cottage

We loved our two nights at the cottage. Check in was simple, and arriving to wine & chocolate was a lovely touch. Loved time in the garden and the house was comfortable and cozy. Would highly recommend - thanks for having us!

Charming cottage

This little cottage offers so much. The host has thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible.This is the 2nd time we have stayed at Elsie’s place. & would definitely love to return in the future.

Maldon getaway

We have stayed at this property before, and its always so quiet and private. Friendly locals who love a chat, great coffee, a yummy bakery and lots of lovely drives and walks.The property is spacious,well maintained and is great for dogs.Will go back again.

Clean, well maintained, close to town, secure yard for pets. Suggest bath could be replaced by shower, especially for older people. Loved the welcoming goodies. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Great weekend getaway

Had a really enjoyable weekend on my second stay at Elsie’s Cottage. The property is comfortable, neat and tidy, in a quiet street conveniently located about a 10 minute walk into town. Check-in was easy and all essentials are provided. Wine and chocolate was much appreciated. A great place for a relaxing weekend.

Very Clean, great communication and comfortable stay.

We stayed for a few days and were very comfortable during our stay. Our dog enjoyed lazing around in the back garden and provided us many walks in the area. Although the property is in town, it’s still a good 20 minute walk to town however easy to find. Overall a pleasant stay and exactly what we needed. thank you.

Short break from busy Melbourne life

The property was super clean, the bed very comfortable (and I am picky) and with the colder weather the open fire was fantastic. Great for the dog with a good secured yard. Walking into town is good, around 10-15 mins and we enjoyed talking to the locals at the pub and and the bakery. The positive reviews stack up.

Beautiful dreamlike getaway.

We are heartbroken that we did not sign the guestbook. We had so many compliments. The cleanliness was superb, the attention to detail and the overall look- just divine. A highlight was discovering children toys, this was a godsend for our bub. She had a wonderful time! Beds were comfortable, kitchen was lovely.. all of it- gorgeous! Thank you once again!
