Hello! We are CUBO'S HOLIDAY HOMES, specialising in holiday accommodations since 2005.



This holiday apartment in Málaga centre offers you a unique experience in a space with history and comfort. Located in the building where sculptor Jaime Fernández Pimentel lived, you can admire the official parade of Málaga's Holy Week from its balcony Perfect for up to 3 people, it features a double bedroom and a double sofa bed, complete air conditioning, high-speed WiFi and Smart TV for your entertainment. The kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine and the bathroom is modern and functional. Additionally, the linen includes sheets, towels, crockery and cutlery so that you only worry about enjoying yourself.

This was a lovely well placed apartment let down by a few things.The main problem/difficulty was gaining entrance and leaving apartment. It took over an hour to gain entry due to system online entry facility when we arrived.The morning we left it took 15 minutes to leave the apartment due to same locking system. This situation could have been worse with a flight to catch.Sort the technology!Smaller things such as kitchen sink not holding water are minor we're just frustrating.

SCAM! Avoid this place

Avoid this apartment! It’s a scam. We had to wait more than 1 hour at the door to receive the keys (no reception). The code for the pool door did not work. There is a fine of EUR 150.- if you try to access the pool outside the indicated hours. The reservation is not made in hotels.com but with another website, that charged us twice!! The call center is never available. Avoid this place.

Great building in a great position

The apartment is in a great building in a great part of the city. The pool on the roof is fantastic. The bedroom level is not great. The metal stairs up to the bedroom level are dangerous with no hand rail. The screen doesn’t go round the entire upstairs level so there are gaps with no barrier from falling. During the second night we moved down to the sofa bed which wasn’t comfortable. The shower floods the bathroom floor. The rest of the apartment is nice with good kitchen facilities but no washing machine as originally advertised. We had a lovely holiday & would like to stay in the building again but not in this apartment.

Cubo's apartment

Although the location is good it's also very noisy so we could not leave our windows open to enjoy the fresh air. The apartment has a funky smell that I first thought it was from cigarette smoke but it actually came from the sink so that also caused a problem with not being able to leave the window open. They were very good at responding when I called the cell number with any question. It would be nice to leave written instructions on how to operate the appliances and what needs to be done before leaving such as what to do with the trash. The bathroom and shower is beyond small with a curtain for the tiny shower, impossible to take a shower without getting the bathroom soaked. In the bedroom the idea of having one large pillow for two is not the best. The picture of Picasso's Guernica in the bedroom is very odd. All in all what bothered me the most was the smell which we couldn't get rid of and the size of the shower.

Quirky comfortble apartment in good location for sightseeing

The apartment had everything we needed for our four night stay. Being part of the old town based on a narrow street, it was quite atmospheric and had lots of shops and cafes on the doorstep. It was very clean well equipped for 2 adults. I would not want to stay with any more people, partly because it is smaller than it looks from the pictures, and partly because of the layout. The only real complaint referred to the plumbing. There was a permanent bad smell of drains in the bathroom and the hot water system did not allow for two showers to be taken one immediately after the other. Also the bedroom only contains a bed, no storage apart from two night stands, one of which could not be accessed, or anywhere to apply makeup, dry hair etc. This was overcome by a slight rearrangement of furniture and moving a mirror and was not a big issue. Juan and his partner were very welcoming and helpful both in the run up to our stay and during our visit. If you want a good bolthole for a Malaga city break that is a bit different, I would recommend you try this place.

Accueil chaleureux , appartement impeccable: fonctionnel, bien situé, très confortable.

Nous avons passé des vacances magnifiques dans un logement où on se sent comme chez-soi dès le premier jour, c'est confortable, douillet, chaleureux et on est content d'y rentrer chaque soir après une belle journée de visite ou de plage.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine. Nous avons été accueillis par José et Rosa, des propriétaires très sympas et serviables. La maison possède tout les équipements qu'il faut. L'endroit est très calme, idéal pour se reposer et se ressourcer. Je recommande vivement cette maison.

Maison correcte mais un doute subsiste..

Maison agréable, propre et fonctionnelle, calme assuré, rien à dire... il manque peut être une bâche à bulle pour la piscine, qui aurait pu être plus chaude à cette période de l'année En revanche, problème à l'arrivée, après avoir recompté à 2 reprises le solde à verser en espèces ( 850€ et 400€ de caution ), nous étions certains d'avoir donné le bon montant, mais le propriétaire, ne parlant ni français ni anglais, nous a indiqué qu'il manquait 100€, que nous avons donc remis ayant un doute... Même problème lors du départ, le BIP permettant d'ouvrir la porte garage, a disparu au moment de l'état des lieux, et le propriétaire nous a déduit la somme de 50€ sur la caution. Ce bip était forcément dans la villa vu que la voiture était entrée et n'étions d'ailleurs pas ressortis.. Nous avons donc cherché partout, également dans les poubelles, mais n'a jamais été retrouvé, alors que toutes les clés étaient rangées au même endroit durant toute la semaine, afin d'éviter ce désagrément. Il ne s'agit bien évidemment que des doutes, mais cela fait beaucoup. J'ai recontacté par écrit le propriétaire afin de savoir s'il l'avait retrouvé, messages restés sans réponse de sa part.... Si cela est déjà arrivé ou arrivait à nouveau, merci de me le signaler.. Ceci est dommage car nous avons passé néanmoins un excellent séjour dans cette villa.
